Best desk for the money.
I think that this is probably the best desk that you can buy for the money. I purchased this desk to replace a 4 year old bargain store computer desk that barely survived a move. I simply removed the keyboard tray from the old desk and mounted it to this one. The height, 28" from floor to underside of desk surface, was less than 1 inch difference from my old computer desk, so the keyboard tray is exactly where it is supposed to be and is very comfortable for typing. Also, while this is not specifically a "computer desk" it was designed with cable management in mind and actually works better than the old computer desk in that regard.Pros: - Price: paid $120 with free shipping - Build Quality: While I suspect that no trees were harmed in the making of this desk, everything fit together well when putting it together, it feels quite sturdy, and is very heavy and planted after being set up. - Easy assembly: Did it myself in just under an hour and it would have gone much faster with an additional person as the instructions suggest. I also feel that I could easily disassemble and reassemble it if it needed to be moved. - It has a really large and usable workspace: Basically 5 1/2 ft wide by a little over 2 ft deep.Cons: - Mine came with a small crushed edge from the factory, not as a result of shipping. It is about 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch, so not worth returning or worrying about, but this did keep me from giving this desk 5 stars. - Finish: As I mentioned in build quality, there is nothing that would be mistaken as wood in this desk at all. The writing surface appears to be covered in some sort of contact paper designed to look like wood grain. I'm not sure that this will hold up to much abuse.Despite the flaws, I can easily recommend this desk to anybody with the space for it. Despite it's name, this is not a desk that you would find in an executive's office, but for a large home office, it is fantastic.

Best value for the money
I spent hours researching desk options before making the decision to purchase this. My criteria was a very large work surface, that looked nice, and did not have to be real wood (the top is not, it is laminated foam core). If you have a similar criteria I'm not sure, at the time of this writing, there's a better deal out there.I have had the desk almost a year now, I use it for both work and gaming so it gets heavy use but there's zero sign it's been used. It's incredibly spacious: I have a pair of 4" speakers, 2 large monitors, a monitor stand, a Blue microphone, keyboard, 2 mice, cordless phone charger, a stack of books, Star Wars schwag... there is still so much room and it doesn't feel cluttered at all.I'm 6'4" and there's plenty of room for my legs and a small foot rest. I couldn't imagine using a keyboard tray with this desk though, the keyboard works fine on the desktop itself. The height is great enough that I can adjust my chair height almost enough to keep my feet off the floor and still be able to sit and work at the desk. The bad:1) It's made in China so you are gambling with quality. I got lucky, there were no blemishes, missing hardware, miss-drilled holes, or pre-package damage. However I ordered my wife the Natural color (from a "wall" retailer) and it had a noticeable gouge in the middle of the work surface. Just read some of the other reviews, there is a risk.2) The edges are sharp! The bottom edge that faces the seating position, and especially the bottom of the modesty panel will cut you. I have a new scar on my right shin thanks to this fine desk. Placing a foot rest below it solved my problem, as my legs won't fit between the rest and modesty panel now. However I recommend sanding or covering the edge, particularly if someone younger is going to be using or near it.If you can accept those 2 potential criticisms then you should be very satisfied with this desk. I paid $165 but now that I've used it almost a year I would have been willing to spend $200.

Decent product.
Good product for the money. I'd like to give it 3.5 stars but rounding up rather than down. While I put this together myself in less than an hour - there are certain steps that would be MUCH easier with a 2nd person - namely when you lay the top onto the legs to join them. I bought this desk because I wanted something that was not going to sit against a wall and I didn't want the side of the desk opposite me (not sure it that's the back or the front!) to be unfinished. Most desks in this price range are meant to go against a wall so that side is unsightly pressed wood. The desk has a clean design and cable management is pretty decent. I prefer the side 'pocket's over the typical cable plate on TOP of the desk because with two monitors, docking station and a printer/speakers - I have options on where to lay the devices out rather than huddled in a corner. The pieces are clearly labeled which makes assembly super easy and the hardware was immaculately packed/labeled. Instuctions included are very straight-forward and easy to follow. You really just need one phillips screwdriver to put this together since it uses mainly cam-locks. Since the legs don't have the 'wood grain' look, the sticker you use to cosmetically cover the holes for hardware are simple to put on (think back to using wood simulated stickers and the grain never matching right!).Similar to another customer, I had a few dings on the top piece. Also because the top is covered in some sort of paper applique, the dings caused a small tear in the material. I'm dealing with it because I don't feel like dealing with shipping it back and I can live with them due to the locations.I couldn't find a desk similar to this for this price range in local retail stores, so for taking a chance on pictures online, I have no major complaints.
