THAYERS Witch Hazel Blemish Cleanser, 4 Ounce

So for around two years I’ve been using this in tandem with thayers peppermint bar soap as my only two daily skin care products. I’ve had constant irritating red bumps on my upper arms/thighs for over 20 years. Well after about 3-4 months of using this I noticed they were disappearing. Now almost two years later I am happy to say I have no more irritating red bumps. I can even shave my entire body as long as I apply this(along with the Thayers lemon pads w/salicylic acid after the shower). Focus specifically on my armpits/private area after shaving & then again for 2-3 more days. This is incredible as I have terribly sensitive skin & can be prone to getting in-grow hairs. I absolutely love these thayers products & wouldn’t know what to do without. I would truly be devastated if they are ever discontinued. Thank you Thayers for your wonderful line of witch hazel products.

When Fall started my face decided to turn into a pizza. My normal face wash (clinique) wasn't working and I really like the toner with this brand; so I decided to give this stuff a go and boy am I happy I did. I have only used it for a few days and my face is clearing up. The scent isn't strong and it has a really nice consistency. I have to also say I bought the exfoliating pads and I use those maybe 2 to 3 times a week, along with their toner (using the original right now) every day.

Finally found the face wash that actually works. I also use their unscented toner (non salicylic acid) and their salicylic acid serum. Highly recommend, my skin breaks out whenever it has the chance, these skin care products are very good

I didn’t get to try it but my teenage son loves this product. He suffers from acne and this cleanser has been the best fit for him so far. I purchased two and after he used his for one week, he proclaimed the other tube was also his! Will definitely repurchase for him.

Received the Thayer's Witch Hazel Blemish Cleanser with the intention of using it on my face to prevent and treat blackheads and the occasional blemish. However, it has such a foul scent to it that I gave up after 3 uses. I have no idea why it smells so bad. Maybe it's meant to smell this way or maybe something went wrong in how this batch was handled that made the scent turn to something really unpleasant. It doesn't smell like Lemon, that's for sure. The 2% salicylic acid should be quite useful in getting down into pores to remove oil, dead skin and bacteria. It can be drying, but it seems to be well balanced in this cleanser with the moisturizing ingredients of glycerin and aloe as my face didn't feel dry or tight after cleansing. The tea tree oil and the witch hazel work to fight bacteria and to provide antioxidants. I personally don't have any reactivity issues with using witch hazel or tea tree oil, but be aware that both of these ingredients could be irritating to sensitive skin. Folks with dry skin might find the Blemish Cleanser more drying than I do with skin that leans more toward oily, or might want to use it once a day or every other day. The cleanser is advertised as a gel, but it's more the consistency of a gel-serum. It's runny, so be prepared for that when you first open it. The cleanser will flow out of the tube before you put any pressure on it. Feels nice on the skin, doesn't lather. It's pricey for a drugstore salicylic acid cleanser, though a tiny bit of this goes a long way.
