Best Work Gloves Ever!
[...] Toughness: 9/10 Fingers! These gloves can take a lot of abuse. I’ve had one of the original pairs for over 2 years. I recently had to finally replace them, and that’s only because I lost them. It was a sad day for sure. I’m in the military and specifically a support unit, so gloves are critical to everything I do there. These took all the abuse of fixing motors, spilt fluids, handling rough surfaces, throwing weapons, around, etc. The only reason they don’t get a 10 is that the velcro on the wrist strap started to separate from the strap after about a year of use. Super glue fixed it, but it’s an imperfection and I want to be honest. Weight: 10/10 Fingers! These things only way 5.6 ounces. That’s barely a third of a pound. When you wear them they almost feel like nothing is there, which is exactly what you want with a pair of gloves, and for those who have to haul a lot of gear around, they essentially add nothing to your load out. Warmth: 5/10 Fingers This is the only true problem I’ve found with these gloves but that doesn’t stop them from being the best work gloves around. They do stop biting wind and provide some basic warmth, but they aren’t cold weather gloves. Which during the summer is a great advantage to them. But during the winter you need a little something more. I use these Under Armour Liners with mine and they become super toasty. Another advantage to using those liners is that they keep the tactile feedback strong and don’t add a lot of weight. But they will work with standard issue Army wool glove liners too. Looks: 10/10 Fingers! As stated, I’m in the military and need a pair of gloves that work with the uniform, and these fit the bill perfectly, but they do come in black and other standard colors so you don’t have to go super tactical with them if that’s not your thing. Another reason I think these are the best work gloves in the looks department is that they don’t have the hard knuckle cover a lot of “tacticool” gloves do. I’ve worn those style of gloves before and hate them. They just never fit right and sometimes when wearing them I feel like I’m trying to hard to look like I’m in the special forces. These gloves give you the protection of the hard knuckles with a soft rubber protector but don’t sacrifice the look or feel that those hard knuckle gloves do. Tactile Feedback: 8/10 Fingers! This one is hard to grade, because in the end all gloves take away some of the natural feeling of your hands. Part of that is sizing, and if you get the right size on these gloves they will fit your hand and give you pretty much full function of the fingers. The biggest drawback though is that these are not touchscreen compatible and in the world we live in today that is a crucial feature for a lot of people. Miscellaneous: 9/10 Fingers! These gloves have several extra features that help make them pretty nice. The palm is padded with a thin but soft layer of foam, and cut from some pretty tough leather. The top is a thick mesh that provides both protections and breathability. There’s a pad on the inside of the pointer finger that prevents common blisters. As mentioned before it uses a thick rubber “pad” over the knuckles to provide protection, and it’s cut in just the right places to provide maximum flexibility. The wrist strap is made from the same rubber and is not coming off the glove. However, the velcro which is sewn to the rubber did come off on my last pair after about a year of use. Another negative is that while they provide some basic protection when wet, you don’t want to let these get soaked. If you do make sure to let them air dry as soon as possible and you’ll be alright. Otherwise the gloves will begin to wear out at an accelerated pace. Price: 10/10 Fingers! Relative to other similar types of gloves, these are dirt cheap. Similar gloves from Oakley can cost around $80. These are normally around $25 meaning you’re saving nearly 70% when you buy these gloves. Which also means you an afford to grab more than one pair and keep a set in the toolbox as well as with your shooting kit. OVERALL SCORE: 8.7/10 Fingers! Now I hear what you’re saying. If it’s 8.7 out of 10, how can they be the best work gloves ever? Well first, anything can improve, and second very rarely do you find the absolute perfect product. Compromises often have to made in the name of price, design, engineering limitations, etc. In my humble opinion these gloves find the perfect balance between all of those factors, and really only fall short in a couple minor aspects that can be remedied fairly quickly.

They are a little on the thicker side
These gloves offer great protection for the entire hand both front and back. Be aware that these run a little thicker than other gloves so make sure you have a larger finger guard if you are using them for shooting especially handguns. They are true to size but a little forgiving as well so just order whatever size you normally use. The stitching has held up so far and the material has done well with hot barrels from the rifle, and the index finger has the tip that allows you to use your phone if needed. Mechanix gloves aren't usually the cheapest priced but you get a quality and durable product.

Great Gloves for industrial HVAC
These Mechanix Wear Impact Covert Tactical Gloves are absolutely top-notch! From the moment I put them on, the 'Secure Fit' lived up to its name – they felt snug, comfortable, and provided excellent dexterity. I've used them in a variety of demanding situations, and they've consistently performed flawlessly. The impact protection is superb. I've taken some knocks and bumps, and these gloves have absorbed the blows without transferring any significant force to my hands. The build quality is exceptional, robust and durable, clearly designed for serious use. The covert black design is sleek and professional. What truly sets these gloves apart is the balance of protection and flexibility. I can handle intricate tasks with ease, thanks to the tactile feedback and secure grip. Whether I'm working on equipment, handling tools, or needing reliable hand protection, these gloves deliver. If you're looking for a high-quality tactical glove that offers superior impact protection, a secure fit, and excellent dexterity, look no further. These Mechanix Wear Impact Covert Tactical Gloves are worth every penny. Five stars without hesitation!

Buy them a size smaller then what you need!!!
Medium is a large, I'm assuming small is a medium. Opened up the package and was surprised at how large the size was. They arrived in excellent condition! Most definitely quality and a heavy duty glove for sure but the sizes are off big time. I work at an automotive parts distribution center and the Mechanicx Gloves there are to size but they only have large and XL. These are large for sure.

Worth the cost
Best gloves I've ever used, on my 5th pair now. I've used these for aircraft maintenance, yard work, car work, material handling, everywhere I've needed to have protection on my hands. Great dexterity, can still use my phone, all around well worth the price. I only get 2-3 years of use from them though, every one of mine fails in the same manner - the fingertips split open on the seam. Minor downside, but given how much abuse I put these gloves through it's unreasonable to expect them to hold up more than they have.

Best work gloves
Love these gloves, this is probably my fourth or fifth set now. They fit great and they protect your hands real well. My last set lasted about a year or two before they started falling apart, this was after using 100s of times on various jobs. Will definitely buy again.

Great but may require some training time
I am surprised on how long these gloves have lasted me. As a background I have aproximately 50 hours of weapon training and 700 hours of duty use with them. Durability: They have surpassed my assumed life expectancy. The material and stitching has held up very well. There has been a lot of discoloration and smoothing of the leather on the fingers and palms, which is expected. I have primarily used them for sun protection while on duty, so I am not overly hard on them, although I do firearm training in them. I have washed them once or twice to keep them clean without any problems. They have a strong chemical/rubber smell to them which has never really disappeared, so I'd classify their smell as durable lol. Fit: I generally have to wear large gloves, and I'm basing this on my hands so it may not apply to yours. My thumb and index finger fit perfect. My middle and ring finger are at the end and its noticeably tight. My pinky has about a third of an inch of wiggle room at the end. I spent quite a long time flexing my hand to collapse all of the material at the end of my middle fingers so it didnt feel as tight. The palm appears to line up where it is supposed to. Although the material bunches up when making a fist, they have designed it to collapse on itself in thinned out areas so it isn't overly thick. I wouldn't say they "fit like a glove," but they also aren't miserable to wear. Function: The material throughout the entire glove is pretty thick. I had to retrain how I pulled the trigger with my duty pistol because the glove was impacting the trigger safety mechanism. As with any major change in gear, I would highly recommend that you spend a couple of hours training with them before using them on duty or live training, especially if it involves a firearm. A knife tip doesnt poke through the fingertips, although I'm fairly sure a needle would with some pressure. Touch screen use is possible, although I'd only leave them on for primative phone tasks. I have included a picture of the remaining space inside of the trigger housing when the finger is inserted to give you an idea. Ultimately they have been a great pair of gloves that have surpassed my expectations. I do not think they are as great for weapons handling as a dedicated shooting glove, but with some training they function just fine. I would recommend these for light to moderate firearm use or just an everyday work glove.
