Q: Is this gas food safe? Want to use in a food torch which needs the red nozzle to be filled. Thanks for any help.

I would say yes as my 1st thought would be that its only the fuel source and burns off the butaine anyway but if you are unsure check the manual for your device, if it says betaine is OK then yes this would be fine and has several attachments in the lid to fit multiple different devices. Each can is 300ml (250ml + 50ml for free) and it arrives as a pack of 12 but just know the plastic lids are likely to be broken on delivery for those cans on the outside. Great product other than that and perfect for refilling lighters

Yes it's fine I use a dremel butane iron every day in the workshop no issues with this gas

Q: How many lighters can it fill?

It's 12 individual 300ml cans, 3.6 litres of lighter gas. I don't know exactly how much gas a refillable lighter holds I guess it would depend on what type of lighter you use. it's got to be atleast a few hundred times you can refill your lighters.
