In a celebration of Robert Plant's post-Led Zeppelin career, Shaken 'n' Stirred has been remastered and expanded. Interwoven with world beats and synths, this album's highlights include "Sixes and Sevens' and the hit "Little By Little."

Great, but watch shipping costs
Came when they said, and as they said. Awesome album if you like Robert Plant. My only complaint is that I purchased 2 cds from this seller. Because they’re located in Europe shipping cost just over $11 for cds that cost just over $22. But that was on me since I’d placed the order prior to checking shipping. Got a bit carried away and didn’t pay attention, since I’m a prime member.

An Awesome Classic By Robert Plant!
I had this studio recording once before, a long time ago. But it was in cassette tape form. I had gotten it before, because i really love the song "Little By Little". So after all this time i got this recording again but in CD form and i'm extra happy because there are more songs that i know and like that are on this, that i had on another of Robert Plants CDs. Including the extended remix version of "Little By Little." So its definitely worth the buy. An awesome Classic! Very happy and satisfied!

Not bad..
Its an OK Album, I only got it for Little By Little which is a good song. Some of his other solo Albums are much better, Now and Zen & Principle of moments.

Cd case arrived not broken. Yeah!!!
Arrived in great condition. Cd case was not broken for a change. I hope this will continue. I have not listened to it yet, but I’m sure it will be just fine. So many broken cd cases in the past.

Not for casual fans
This album has some terrific highlights but I'd also venture to say it has 2 or 3 of the worst misses Robert ever put to tape. It was experimental, even by his standards, and in that respect, it was freeing and achieved some new things but some of them just aren't pleasant or interesting listening.I give it 3 stars as a fan. I'd expect a casual listener or fan of Zeppelin era material to give this closer to a 1.5 or 2 stars and only because they might fondly remember "Little by Little" being included on the soundtrack of an episode of "Miami Vice."Unless you're feeling nostalgic, check out "Dreamland" instead; also a departure for Robert but one with a startling degree of sonic success.

Kind of Like Miami Vice meets cool bass lines
I bought this CD for the song "Little By Little". I love that song. The bass line is one of the best in rock history. It is right up there with the creativity of Geddy Lee's bass lines. The rest of the CD is nothing like it. In fact, it's as if you're listening to a Miami Vice episode soundtrack. It dripping in 1985.I agree that fans either will love or hate this CD. I am undecided. It's one of those CD's that probably has to be listened to at the right place at the right time. To me, driving is always best, but I haven't felt nostalgic enough for the 80's to be so enthusiastic about it.Paul Martinez, the bass player on this album, is the saving grace. How have I not heard of this guy before ? His bass lines are incredibly memorable and thoughtful. He doesn't take the least path of resistance.Other than that, the rabbit hasn't jumped out of the black hat yet for me.

An interesting album that reflects both its time and Plant's ...
An interesting album that reflects both its time and Plant's apparent desire to move away from the style of Zeppelin. Sounds a little dated now and not a patch on some of the more recent stuff but worth a listen if you are a fan of the man and his musical journey.

Originality throughout
An enjoyable album, quite different from the first 2. More electronica, and experimentation with sound. It's great to hear Plant's variety of songwriting, and not keep within the traditional Pop/Rock boundaries. Add this record to your collection.
