If this product is ever discontinued I will cry! I can get salon quality highlights with this boxed kit. It saved me 200 dollars every time I used it. With a good toner and a couple hours of my time I look amazing. My hair is naturally dark and this color doesn't turn my hair orange.

I used the small hook and pulled. tiny strands through all of the holes to get the 'baby light" look- I had to leave it on for a full hour-don't wash it out too soon, or it will be brassy (my hair is naturally about a level 6), and it took a long time to pull out all of the little hairs, but it came out really well. I can't afford $300+ every 3 months anymore- this is also great for in between professional 'modern blondings'. If you want FULL highlights in the back, you might need to have a friend pull some holes in the back- I could get the top layer of the back from the back crown, so it still blends. This kit is much better than the Revlon kit; it's worth the extra ~$5.

I bought this highlighting kit to use on my teenage daughter, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! It gave us the natural, beautiful finish we were hoping for, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

This is a great product to lighten your medium brown hair/roots without ending up orange provided you do the strand test to determine how long you ultimately need to leave it on to get to the white blonde. Don’t just go off the suggested times or you definitely may end up still orange. I think others that rated this badly due to orangeness just didn’t leave it on long enough or were going from dark brown/black hair and probably needed a second lightening to get them to the white blonde. The lightening process is the same for everyone from your original color to orange then yellow and finally white. For me it took 50 minutes. I definitely think using a toner after is beneficial to lesson the whiteness and suggest Wella T18, T27 or T28 depending on what shade you’re looking for. Those always work great for me and you can get them at Sally Beauty Store. Inexpensive too. Anyway I really like that this has strand test measurements included (1 tsp lightener to 2 tsps developer) so if you just need to do your roots like I did, you can just mix that 1:2 amount up and save the rest for later treatments. Most other products don’t have that so you end up wasting most of it for just the small amount you actually used. Creme is thick and doesn’t run either. Easy to apply and no strong smell. And the blue toning leave in rinse after works well to minimize light orange tones but a little is all it takes or your hair could end up with a bluish tint. My only complaint is the cap. Holes are impossible to see so perhaps mark the ones you’ll use with a colored marker to make it easier to see when on. And leave the area directly around the hole free of lightener or it’ll leak through to your hair underneath. Lesson learned the hard way here lol. Overall though the Caramel lightener is definitely the best product I’ve used to easily lighten my medium brown hair with no issues.

I liked this so much that I bought another one two weeks later. I successfully changed my cool toned brown hair into a vibrant, summer streaked blonde. Instructions were very easy and I prepped my hair for about a week prior to using it. I am NOT a hairdresser so I tried to take every precaution - a few hair masks and lots of conditioning. I mixed the product, placed the bag nice and tight on my head, and proceeded to take very thin amounts of hair around my face. I let it sit for a full 60 minutes (light yellow-do not be fooled by the dried bleach because it looks lighter than it is until you rinse), and then followed the instructions on how to rinse and condition. The result is honey colored, sun-kissed highlights. I love it! As I stated, I did get another box and repeated the process so that I could lighten more. It is now 4 weeks post and my hair is a little dryer, as expected , but I bought some extra conditioner (Aveda) and so far, I am thrilled. I will definitely use this again. Oh, and I saved about $250. Win win.

Very comprehensive product. I kept thinking how more items come in this box. I applied and it was so easy. Thick paste and no drips. I decided not to use caps they are too difficult. Lightening still lasted three months in considering another touch up. Saved excess in a ziplock bag for another time. Will reconstitute with water.

My husband helps pull my hair through the cap, I mix the solution, apply the paste, cover with the included plastic wrap, and blow‑dry for about five minutes on medium heat. After letting it sit for another twenty minutes, my very dark hair lifts to a bright, summery blond every single time. The color is consistent, never brassy, and the toner is the secret weapon—apply it after washing and leave it on overnight for that perfect, non‑brassy blond. I get compliments constantly. It’s reliable, easy to use, and I always keep an extra box on hand because I never want to be without it.

The instructions in the box were detailed and easy to follow. I am in canada and it took a few weeks for this product to make its way to me, but I would say it was worth it. It lifted my hair with minimal damage. I followed a tutorial with a root smudge and a separate toner, and the results were great; my dyed black hair lifted to a caramel. I have fine, dense hair, and this didn't cause any breakage for me.

Very disappointed it’s been like 8 June I ordered still not there and I am hating it and my event passed what the actual stuff and it’s too expensive really disappointed
