The Best Interview Book Out There!
This book is hands-down the best interview resource I’ve come across. It brings the human element back into the interview process—something so many guides miss. I can’t recommend it enough

The MRI of Souls strikes again!
Angela is in true form in this compelling and timeless guide. Her charming personality is in full effect as she reframes the interview process by offering a more holistic and less transactional framework. She does this by illustrating how we all (read: human beings) make decisions, and in light of this, what interviewers are REALLY looking for. As always, she communicates intent by explaining why she's making the recommendations she is. Her clear instruction is reinforced with illuminating examples from her past, and often includes several options you can try with recommendations for when to deploy each tactic. As with all things Angela, she isn't so much teaching you the topic at hand as she is "teaching you about you": How to discover your authentic self and share it with the world. This is the sneaky secret about working with Angela and what sets her apart from others: You will understand yourself better after working with her. This book is no exception to that.I have interviewed candidates in a number of capacities and so few of them used these principles - All would have been better served if they had. On the other hand, as a candidate I have been interviewed many times, and when I've done things Guido's way, I have had a positive outcome every single time. Really. (The book explains how this is possible.)As a former client of Angela's, it brings a smile to my face to see her sage advice and hard-earned life lessons encapsulated in this piece. I am so appreciative of her democratizing this knowledge so that many aspiring people can benefit.I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get better at interviewing, and especially to anyone who is already well practiced. I recommend it even more to anyone who wants to be more effective in life. Whatever your need, the guidance Angela shares in this book is actionable, well-researched (with inline citations), and effective. You can't go wrong with Angela Guido. Pick up a copy today, and you'll see why you need some Guido in your life.

Plain and simple - get this book if you want to nail your interviews.
So, I've been watching Angela Guido's awesome YouTube videos from her company, Career Protocol, as I've been preparing my MBA applications. I found out she had a book and figured maybe it would be as awesome as her spirited and fun YouTube videos. And it was. I actually took her advice and then got an interview at a top MBA program. And then I frantically read the book for a couple of weeks, dog-earing and writing all over it because there was SO much good information to note and recall. She was my cheerleader through this book. It soothed my nerves and gave me structure, and I went into those interviews and got accepted to my dream school. I can't even believe it. I feel like I owe it to Angela. Seriously. THANK YOU, ANGELA! You are a superhero. This book is brilliant. It changed my mind about interviewing. Now....onto the job interviews..... :)

I realized I was doing it all wrong before I read this book!
Perhaps the best part about Angela's book was that it was all so very relatable- the fact that I was thinking an interviewer was judging every word that came out of my mouth and that uncomfortable feeling when I'm asked to brag about my proudest moments in life. It was a huge relief to find out that most people undergo these feelings. The other best part has to be 'the friendship mindset' that Angela introduced in this book. Going into an interview this with frame of mind made me feel so much more authentic and focus a lot less on the end result and more on the conversation in front of me while I was in my interviews.Previously, I followed the very tried and tested STAR approach when handling behavioral questions and, truth be told, it was similar to Angela's 4C approach mentioned this book. However, what I did miss was all the intricate details in my stories, why they mattered to me, the stakes involved and mostly- the rollercoaster of emotions I went through when I'd either failed or succeeded. Before, I was going through my stories like a robot- it was all programmed in my head and felt very algorithmic. I knew I was missing a human touch to keep my interviewer involved in my stories up until the very end. Angela's book provided me with a solid framework to practice and deliver my stories in a vivid and succinct manner. This is a great book for someone that has interviews coming up in a month's time. I'd highly highly recommend it!
