Bedding Bed Pillows for Sleeping King Size, Gusseted for Back, Stomach or Side Sleepers - My Pillow Premium Pillow [King, Firm]

When my residual whiplash injuries had been worsened by the onset of arthritis in my neck this year, I tried to take a holistic approach to managing these symptoms: ergonomics at work, neck exercises, and sleeping posture. I confess I was skeptical of claims of how the MyPillow could help with neck issues--I'm a firm believer in a healthy dose of skepticism. However, I have been very pleasantly surprised. I previously had a memory foam pillow, which was comfortable to lay on, but had a 'one-size-fits-all' loft level. The fill did not adjust to support the particular firmness, pillow elevation, and contours that my head/neck needed. The lack of head support and misaligned neck vertebrae throughout the night meant I'd wake up with pain and decreased range of motion. I researched pillows, and decided to give the MyPillow a try.I figured if I didn't like it, I'd just send it back. No harm, no foul. I'm pleased with how well this pillow has helped my neck pain issues. The multiple-piece foam-fill allows the pillow to 'cradle' and surround my head and neck: both head and neck are supported all around. I don't feel any strain my neck or head from only partial support like I previously had with my memory foam pillow. However, there are two VERY important factors to consider when buying this pillow. 1) it is not one-size-fits-all. If you select the wrong pillow fill/firmness, you will not like it: your head will be too elevated or not enough, and you will have neck discomfort. 2) if you don't follow the pre-use instructions to place the pillow in the dryer for 15 minutes, the foam will not expand to designed capacity, and the pillow won't have the right loft/support. I believe most of the negative criticisms of this pillow are based on wrong sizing and ignoring pre-use care instructions. I highly recommend the MyPillow--just be SURE to follow the sizing instructions (and subtract a level if you like your pillows softer) and put it in the dryer first.

On arrival, these pillows looked like dudes, i.e flat and wimpy. Following directions, I put them in the dryer for 15 minutes, high heat, no dryer balls, and they came out so poofy, and so very comfortable. This gives me great confidence knowing these pillows can be washed and dried for what I anticipate to be a long life. For the pillows, not me! I expect I will be dead before these pillows fail me!

Nice pillow, stays fluffy even not putting it in the dryer at all but one time. Just fluff it up by hand. Did not have any smell and it is pretty thick. You can feel the pieces in the pillow but can't feel them when you sleep.

I LOVE My Pillow! This is my second one, I discovered it on accident when I bought one for my son at a retail store. I slept on it one night and then tried to switch out his pillow with another new one so that I could abscond with his My Pillow. He knew right away and scolded me for stealing his pillow!!! He doesn't want any other pillow either! I have spent hundreds of dollars on tempurpedic pillows, bamboo pillows and find them as hard as a rock, but I have never found anything like "My Pillow". It is odd when you first start checking it out, it is lumpy.... seems like it would not be a great pillow. But I am telling you, wash it and it fluffs right up. And even though it is still lumpy, it somehow conforms to your head and neck perfectly and gives just the right support without being hard. I go for the firm style of My Pillow, never tried the less firm ones, but I like support for my head so I go with that. The key is to wash it on a regular basis, maybe once per month to keep it fluffy, lumpy and firm-- I SLEEP SO GOOD with MY PILLOW!!! Give it a chance, don't be put off by the "lumpy - ness"! That is the secret to it's support!

I love these pillows. I have neck and back issues, but with one of these, my neck doesn’t keep me awake at night. I can’t go back to a standard pillow.

Let me start by mentioning that I have been a MyPillow user and advocate for 10 years, owning a standard and king size pillow during that time. With that said, it came time to order a new one. I did my homework and went to the MyPillow website. Decided I wanted the premium king size firm pillow. Since I had an Amazon gift card, I decided to purchase through Amazon. Upon arriving and opening it, I immediately noticed the pillow just felt cheap and a lack of stuffing for a “firm” pillow. I put it in the dryer for 15 as directed to fluff it up. When I took it out I noticed only about 3/4 of the pillow was filled. And as suspected, the material was cheap. The cover tore. Amazon, please be aware that this has nothing to do with you, but with one of the products being sold with you. MyPillow has gone cheap and seems to be using inferior materials, and cutting corners. And worst if all, the cost is NOT cheap. I ended up using the new stuffing and adding it to my old pillow and sewed it closed. I will not buy MyPillow again.

Don't order this if you need it soon. It gets shipped through via FedEx, smart post, then get dropped off at the United States Postal Service who do final mile delivery. Even if before your purchase, it says delivery in a couple of days. It won't be. Problem is it's never on time when they say it is. I'll never order from my pillow again, here or directly from my pillow. It was the same way both times.

This is the best pillow I've ever owned. For years and years I've struggled to find one that works, most of the time even resorting to a combination of pillows like a neck pillow and a regular bed pillow, and never been happy with any pillow or pillow combination. But this one is awesome. It is super comfortable no matter which position I sleep in. It's supportive enough to offer support where I need it, but doesn't seem too firm where I don't need it to be. It's done a great job of staying full and fluffy and not going flat. Every few weeks I give it run through the washer and the dryer and the dryer re-charges its fluffiness right back to its original state (well, it's original intended state, when you first get it out of the package, you have to give it a go-round in the dryer as directed to fluff it up since it ships compressed). I made sure to order the right size for my self when I ordered it (look at the chart, it'll tell you based on your tee shirt size what size you need to order). I think it will especially matter with this pillow. The way the filling is, I could see if you ordered it fuller than you need it to be for your body size it could be firmer than perfect or if you ordered it less full than you need it to be it could lack the support you need for your body size. It fits great inside my regular pillow case and looks like any normal pillow on the bed.

Found very comfortable now only have to sleep with one pillow, would definitely recommend

I have bought quite a few different kinds of pillows trying to relieve my neck pain as they all don’t stay fluffed up by the time I wake up causing my neck discomfort. But this pillow somehow does stay fluffed up all night. I was reluctant to buy this pillow at first because of the length of time I had to wait for it but now I’m so glad I have it.
