Intel does not even have a fix for this and this kit rendered useless. Just a waste of money

The kit is quite easy to setup
The kit is quite easy to setup. It could be further improved by including1) The DC power adapter required to power on Intel Edison2) An additional USB wire that is required during the initial setup3) Small screws instead of rivets to install various sensors in the kit4) Color photos of the top views of all sensors in the kit. The pictures that are currently included in the documentation show the side-profile of various sensors, which makes it a little difficult to identify sensors.

Easy to start and easy to follow on the implementation. Adding Intel XDK for the development and this becomes even easier.

It is a good starting kit to get involved in the edison field
It is a good starting kit to get involved in the edison field. Easy to ensamble, and configuration scripts are available to attach in the cloud. The only problem I saw was the case quality it is no strong enough. Mine was broken after two days of using it.
