Helped me extract a titanium screw
I’ve tried cheaper options and couldn’t get my titanium screw out of my hydrofoil. This plus penetrating oil finally worked!

These prevented a head replacement
These. saved. my. a**. Don't ask me how but one of my spark plugs snapped off; you know that feeling of dread when something happens during a project and you're like "oh no, that's going to be expensive". Yeah it was that moment. Like others have said, take your time. Hammer it in, double check you don't puncture the cylinder head. Take your time, slow consistent torque is the key.

Only good for a few uses
These are decent extractors. They worked better than my spiral extractors. The only problem was that they are easy to strip. I got about 5 uses out of them before the tip was bent and unusable.

Softer than Needed
To begin with I work as a professional aircraft powerplant mechanic, and I mostly used these to extract brass and steel galley plugs that round out. -Soft steel plugs proved too hard for the edges of these extractors as the extractors would compress after a month of use. -Brass plugs were no problem, however i broke the 15/64 off in one in a Continental belly oil galley plug. I always heat the area around the plug after drilling the plug and then use the extractor. Was quite annoyed when it broke off. I then had to drill out the extractor, but ended up pushing it through during drilling (was surprised i could even drill the extractor, usually you cant.) A good 30 minute head ache. But for home use or not frequent use i would recommend these. But i cant recommend them for professional/heavy use.

Awesome!!!!! Spark Plug Remover!!!!!
If you change your own spark plugs, get this, you will eventually need it. I had a broken off spark plug that broke leaving the threads in the engine block. Talk about frustrated!!!!! I ordered this and attached a socket wrench with an extension rod, taped around the fittings incase it fell into the engine block, lightly tapped it into the threads and turned "Slowly" counter clock wise and it came out with ease. I was a little nervous was gonna get it towed to the mechanic, but this saved the day, take your time, don't be a brute....Took 2 minutes tops to get it out. Great for DYI'ers....

It Worked !!
I have a 2004 Dodge Durango 5.7 Hemi and that I purchased with 197,000 miles. I always change plugs on a used vehicle when I first buy one. NEVER had a problem till this time. ALL plugs were extremely tight, hard to turn loose. The 4th plug hole from the front, on the right side broke off, these plugs sit DEEP in the cylinder head. I WAS DEVASTATED, and stressed out to the max. Figured I was screwed big time, faced with towing it somewhere or attempting to pull the heads myself. Anyway, it took about 3 days getting the broke plug out, and my friends help, and soaking in PB Blaster. YOU HAVE TO PUNCH OUT THE CENTER OF THE BROKEN PLUG, and then drive the extractor in the center of the remaining threaded metal part of the plug. TURN COUNTER CLOCKWISE, I used the 2nd to biggest extractor. I can’t put all instructions and details on here, it would take too long. When you punch/knock out the remaining porcelain, the end WILL FALL INTO THE CYLINDER HEAD but you can get it out, it won’t fall down far into No Mans Land And Disappear. We made some punch tools and a magnet on a wire. The big body style durango hemi’s are not fun to change plugs.

It works great
Snapped a plug in my 08 f150. I had to break away the porcaline inside the plug which took a little, but this extractor worked like a charm to extract the plug. 100% woth it.

Worked on ford fiesta 1.4 stuck spark plug thread
My girlfriend had a problem with her car - knocking. Upon inspection I've noticed that coil just flew out when the engine was started. And I've never seen that before. I was thinking that's it - scrap car or big job like head replacement... After doing some research later found out that this might work and gave it a go for £13. I used penetrative lube as well - just in case. The biggest bit helped me out to take it out (not without a little struggle). I have used long 3/8 extension backwards with adjustable wrench as I couldn't put an adjustable on it due to lack of space. Did not break after some good taps so quality is pretty solid. All job from start to finish took 1hr with cleaning near spark plugs to make sure debris doesn't get inside the bore. Easiest fix in my life.
