Seemed like this was going to be really good. I floated it on the pool and it looked great. The remote control was nice and worked from pretty far away. Unfortunately this is not waterproof.Small annoyance was that the remote couldn't go through glass unless you're right up on the window. But that's reasonable.The large annoyance is that mine was not waterproof. We took the ball out of the pool and placed it in a dry spot near the pool, but outside. The next morning, the ball had condensation on the inside and wouldn't turn on. I figured the battery might be dead, so I charged it for 24 hours. It would light up while plugged in, but then stay a dim red when unplugged. We couldn't get it to turn off completely or turn on completely. It now does not work at all. We were careful to ensure the seal over the charge port was in all the way before putting it in the water. The only thing we did wrong seemed to be storing it outside over night.Unfortunately, we tested all this after a month so I'm not sure if I can return the item.

What a great accent for an evening party - make sure you have AAA batteries to use the remote control for changing colors - otherwise, you can set them to one solid color. Either way, after charging the lights, you really can have them in a pool/water with no problem!!

Mine immediately started taking on water, but still the light worked. I unscrewed the base and dried out the water and used lots of silicone to hopefully water proof the ball. Otherwise, it will not be used in the pool if it conntiues to leak.

Worst thing ever to buy !!! Useless. For $80 you only get one stupid cheap plastic ball and when I went to return it they charged me $8 for shipping. Horrible.

About this size of a basketball this LED pool light is a great addition to your pool or out door light. This can stand on it's own and be used other places besides in your pool. Made from a hard plastic and runs on three double A batteries. It floats around your pool adding light to your night swim. I have used this on my patio table for extra light while enjoying a nice evening outside. This is waterproof so there is not a need to be concerned when using it outdoors or in the pool as it is made for water. It gives out a nice glow and is a conversation piece when guests come over. The light is much smaller than the picture shown and again about the size of a basketball. It changes color and will slowly change going through the colors of the rainbow or you can leave it white. There is a remote you can use to switch colors. Great for decoration inside or outside in addition to your pool. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

NOTHING remotely like the size in the photo. These are TINY, CHEAP, PLASTIC. Do not order!!! I returned and has taken WEEKS to get a refund.
