The razor quality is superb, its very smooth and doesn't pull on your hair like other blades do. The design and function is really unique, the finger loop actually helps to control the razor blade. I highly recommend for home use and professional barber use!!! 5 Stars.

I’m a full time barber. This razor is a great and comfortable razor to use. However, the closure mechanism that holds both components and the blade in place has pulled away from the actual razor itself within days of repeated use. I have to continually pop the swinging closure back in place while holding the razor in place the close both sides around the fresh blade and also make sure the closure doesn’t fall off in the process. It’s time consuming. Also, It’s difficult to work around the face at times due to the way the ring finger holder juts out. As this is the second one I’ve purchased in the span of 4 months, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who works with a straight razor full time.

I use this to line my beard and I'm able to comfortably make good lines. I will likely never go back to a regular straight razor. However, I believe this item is overpriced. The quality of the item is average, arguably slightly below.

This tool works great for cleaning up all the super fine hair that grows around the face and ears.

Update! Once upon a time I loved this razor. I recently ordered a replacement. The first replacement got returned immediately because the blade was not held in place at all. I did a return hassle free. The second razor I've had for about a month. They've clearly changed the design this morning the first person I tried to use it on the blade slipped out. That's a huge safety issue so sadly I'll have to find something else. Real disappointed.I would not recommend this to anyone professional or otherwise.Good weight. I like the finger hole. I just wish something slid over the blade to prevent nics when not in use. The case is nice but I'm not going to put it back in the case 10 times a day.

The mechanism seems to be loose and my blade will slide out from time to time and I can’t afford to cut anyone. So as beautiful as this razor holder is, and I love how small it is, it needs to be tighter and made better to make sure the blade doesn’t slide out!!!
