Globe Electric HZ-5867-BZ Light LED Motion, Bronze, 1600 Lumns

I have installed probably 20 of this kind of light over the years and I am glad to see they finally figured out a reasonable way to hang and connect them electrically.None of them have every been hard to install but this new system is much cleaner

The good: they are bright, look good, can be set for different length of light times or even constant on, and can be individually adjusted (somewhat) for both sensitivity of motion sensing and angle of lights.The not so good: the adjustment angle doesn't provide a way to aim them down enough. The lights are on ball sockets, but the adjustment range on then is somewhat limited in all directions.The other not so good: even at lowest sensitivity, they can sometimes be set off by such things as wind, branches moving, etc.

I was looking for an outdoor light which would be lit dimly unless motion was detected, and then would light up brightly. That is exactly what this light advertises, but unfortunately it is designed so that it is quite bright in the "dim" mode and then only slightly brighter when it sense motion. In fact, it is just too bright and too white of a light. Otherwise, the design is nice and easy to mount.

I've tried two of these things and neither one would dim as stated in description. Installation is straight-forward. Test mode, etc. all worked fine. But the one key feature - have the light dim when not detecting motion - does not work.As I said, I tried two different units (spending time ordering, installing, removing, installing new one...), and neither worked. Support emails to Heath Zenith were a dead end. In my emails, I described in detail the model number, what was happing, what I tried... and after a week, the response I finally got was: 'what bulbs are you using.'What bulbs??? It's a self-contained LED light. I can't change the bulbs!So, in the end: defective product and poor customer service. I gave it two stars because it does light up at night.

I like everything about these LED Dual Bright Motion floodlights! Easy to install and set.

The dusk till dawn setting is awesome. They stay on at a dimmer level until they sense motion and then come on full brightness for your preset time. They are way more energy efficient than sodium vapor lights. You can adjust the light level too.. We have 4 of these illuminating our country home grounds.
