This toy is about as much fun as it sounds! Everyone loves this toy, even the adults. Wide variety of sounds and the remote works well. Easy to hide the device and use the remote from across the room. The only thing I didn't like was it requires a 9volt battery. I didn't have one readily available at home and had to make a special trip to get one. Other than that, great toy. Works well and makes everyone laugh.

My daughter and her teenage friend were having a sleepover so I placed the device in one of the drawers underneath her trundle bed. As other reviewers have stated, the device is loud and there is no volume control. A couple of the farts sound slightly "robotic" for lack of a better word. As such, I wrapped the device in a couple washcloths. That helped a lot with both issues. I then waited for them to go to bed then pressed the button on the remote. I could hear them accusing each other for making the noise. I pressed the button again, they started freaking out a little realizing it may not be either of them. I waited a while and did it again. Now they were really freaking out and knocked on our bedroom door. They were now half hysterical trying to explain what was happening like it was a ghost or something. It was great! My wife and I were trying not to crack up! Pros: Realistic. Remote works at least 30 feet away (and through 2 walls). Cons: No volume control - but you can muffle it. People have suggested an option to allow it play the same sound over again (not random). I partially agree but then it will sound more fake. Still, if it was an option then you have the best of both worlds. You will need a 9V battery for the device itself. The battery in the remote is included. Some have complained of limited range. I have to wonder if those devices have a weak remote battery. It's an A23S 12V battery and easily replaceable by removing one screw from the remote control case. I'd check the voltage with an voltmeter to see if that is the cause.

The machine arrived in 2 days of ordering . You need to provide a 9 volt battery for the sound maker , the bigger of the 2 parts , also this part has an on/off switch . The remote battery was preinstalled . The remote range seems fair , and the machine seems to work ok , but on the package back it says "False Activations May Occur If Strong Radio signals Are Present" . So it may give you away prematurely . It has a feature on the back which expands outward when turned to increase the volume . This circular expandable feature is as big as the round yellow sticker you see on the package in the description . The main unit is about 1 1/2 inches thick - 4 3/4 inches long - and 3 3/4 inches wide , but it expands to 2 inches thick when the back is opened . It comes with a 1 by 1 1/2 inch piece of double sided tape . It says so it can be hidden under a hard chair . I believe it would fall . You also cannot control which of the sounds you would like to use , because it produces them in a random order . The sounds aren't to bad , some can be believable , but I can see it's not going to be easy to conceal . I gave it 3 stars because of its size , and the expandable feature which makes it even more difficult to conceal .

I like the fact that you can place it where ever you want and activat a fart on demand with the little remote control you easely place in your pocket!!

Les sons sont amusants, le produit est suffisamment solide pour être placé sans crainte sous des coussins. La télécommande marche parfaitement et à une bonne portée. Des années après fonctionne toujours. Je recommande.
