Awesome Sais!
Purchased these beauties for my sister. She had owned some sais previous to these that an ex-fiance of hers had purchased for $50. She fell in love with these sais right away. They are perfect for martial arts training, are of a decent length and weight, with blunting on the tip to prevent injury. They are a superior quality; the shine of the chrome on them is amazing and resists blemish from fingerprints, and the leather wrapping on the handles is superb, perfect for exceptional gripping with no discomfort. My sister had even told me that these sais, which I had purchased for her for $20 plus shipping, were of a far superior quality than those that were purchased by her ex-fiance. I might just get myself a pair for my next martial arts demonstration.

Nice quality for the price
These sais are pretty well-made for the price. The faux leather wrapping on the handles does not look cheap, unlike some others I have seen. Since I got them, I haven't been practicing as much as I had intended, but so far, the wrapping has stayed on well. If it starts fraying and coming unglued any time soon, I will come back and change my review, but so far I am happy with these.

Had to give these a try, pretty happy with them for the money
The sai's are supposed to be octagon, mine came that way. Yes the wannabe leather wrap is cheap, of course it is you idiots, if it was real good quality leather then these would be selling for more than 25 bucks. They feel like they can take some abuse, decent balance, good weight. Only problem I had was one of the sai's was a centimeter short than the other, looks like end was too narrow so they took a lil more off to make it blunt maybe, not a problem for me really so I will live with it, but if you are a perfectionist then go to a top notch martial arts supplier. For a decorative piece or for a non serious competition martial artists these are hard to beat. For a serious sai you need to look for one that is a solid less slippery unfinished material like solid iron so other weapons wont slide on them as easy.

it ok
First off, the wraping sucks. It starts to fall off within 2 weeks. If you try to block with it, it gets a dent. Its circular. And theres hardly no point to it.There are a lot of better places that are made to sell things like these. Most of the ones here are cheap.

These particular sai are terrible "shiny" knockoffs of real steel or solid metal
This item is a COUNTERFEIT and IS NOT MADE OF SOLID STEEL CONSTRUCTION as advertised!!!! These particular sai are terrible "shiny" knockoffs of real steel or solid metal. Today while training i lost my grip and one of the sai slipped out of my hand and dropped onto the PADDED CARPET in my training room, the sai side guards broke completely off!!... I do not recommend the purchase of this item.

Radical!
Great decorations. Probably not gonna be useful when taking on the footclan or Super Shredder, but they are pretty awesome for the price!

good value
Item is basically as described and a good beginner martial arts weapon. I ordered this for myself and I love it! A bit heavy as it is made of steel but that will help with speed and control if I ever switches to a lighter aluminum set for competition.
