Soooooo not plexiglass.(Acrylic)
I found this material to be a lot more user friendly than Plexiglass (Acrylic), as it is not as brittle. I used this poly-carbonate to form lower fork wind deflectors. I cut with band-saw and drilled holes, was able to smooth edges quite effectively...Quite happy with results...and Highly recommend this product. The dimensions given are mostly accurate as it indicates .236" - 1/4" Thick. Not really 1/4 in..but very close .236" is 6mm. .250" is 1/4".

It makes a great Shelf
I ordered this to use on one of my wire shelves. I needed a solid piece of shelving in order to prevent some items from falling through the wire shelf. The Lexan Sheet worked beautifully and since it is clear it not noticeable as well.

Shipped quickly - exactly what it says it is.
This shipped super-quickly and seems to be exactly what it should be. Hard to mess this up, really. 4 stars because twenty bucks is a lot for a small rectangle of plastic, even if it is really good plastic. I bought it as a base for sandpaper strips for sharpening and lapping. Some people use glass but it seemed like this might be more convenient. We'll see whether it is durable enough to serve this purpose for more than a few sharpenings.

Problem solved!
Impressed with the quality and clarity. I needed this to attach to the wall behind my rocker recliner that was bumping the wall, marking it up and scraping the paint. I was able to easily drill a mounting hole in each corner of the Lexan sheet and mount it. Problem solved!

Keep coming back
They are the perfect size for my projects and limitations of my work space. I like them so much I've purchased 4 panels so far. Their edges are straight, square, and crisp. My only complaint is their sizes vary slightly, +/- 3/32". But to have similar cuts made at the box depot, they'd almost be guaranteed messy edged and out of square, and yikes!

Worked great to replace a broken shelf for my compact refrigerator.
I had a small fridge in a rental property. The bottom shelf got broken. I was able to replace it with this piece of Lexan and it worked great. Obviously not as stiff as glass, but it has enough structure for my small fridge.

Easy to cut - Good material
This is really tough Lexan material but easy to cut with a jigsaw. Now, I finally have a "real" cold-air intake for my 1998 GMC K1500 Suburban.
