What is the weight of the silk?

Below 19 momme in silk fabric is not considered good quality or suitable for sheets, and this is 16.5. The ideal weight for sheets is 22 -25 (600 and 750 threads per inch respectively). This weight is more suited for a sewing project that is lightweight and gathered or lined.

Has anyone used this to make silk masks?

I used a double layer of it as the inner lining with a cotton outer layer. These are my family's favorite masks because they are our most comfortable. BUT we only hand wash them, I wouldn't machine wash.
