With this oled display, will I lose my true tone feature ?

Any time you replace the screen you will need to use a programmer to copy the information from the original screen to the replacement or True Tone will not be available.

Is really very easy to install？

Yes if you follow along with a YouTube video and be gentle and don’t lose any screws

is it hard or soft OLED?

Neither tbh I think it’s a regular LED screen It has a backlight doesn’t look like a true black at the boot screen looks backlit OLED doesn’t look like that I recommend a JK soft Oled they are like $20 bucks more but worth it and they look like the original screen I bought one of those

Be very careful with it.

Now that I’ve done it once it would be very easy to do again...BUT!! The video was terrible and hard to see and missing big sections of the process that mattered. There are little Velcro like connections That need to be gently pried apart. The are very sticky and if you don’t know what you’re looking for you can tear other connections apart trying to wiggle stuff out. This was not mentioned or shown at all and it was very unclear. I ended up ripping an important cable and wasn’t able to repair. Ruined the phone. Made the home button utterly unusable which sucked (obviously)But— now that I’ve done it once And know what to look for I would absolutely run that risk again if another screen cracked.Just be gentle, gentle, gentle and watch a LOT more videos than what the seller provides!!

Perfectly compatible- True Tone still works when properly installed.

Screen took serial number programming from removed screen so tru-tone still works with it if you have the programmer that is.Tools seemed adequate but I had better ones already so didn’t use these really.

Would not line up with iPhone X clips and had dead spot

Screen was defective, had dead spot on edge. Also, the clips along the side were too large for the iPhone so it would not click in place. Overall not usable.
