Z-plus 2.0 Extreme Butane Torch Twin Flame Insert for Petrol Fuel/fluid Lighters

I bought one of these years ago and the piezoelectric igniter finally wore out. (which they all will eventually), so I just bought a replacement for it. I like that the 2 flames merge into 1 big one unlike some others that keep 2 individual thin flames, or only have one flame, and these are definitely better then the rechargeable arc style. One flame might last a little longer between fill-ups but I consistently got over a weeks use and I'm a fairly heavy smoker.

One would think that a genuine Zippo butane insert would be the best but I've discovered that's not the case. After getting very frustrated trying to get them to light most of the time I finally tossed them and went with the Z-Plus. One of the things I like about it is the fact the bottom is clear and you can see whether or not you need butane where the Zippo inserts are all metal with no site glass. So if you're on the fence go with the Z-Plus!

Take a set of tweezers and pull up the tiny stem that is above the center of the two jets where butane is released. Raise this tiny piece about 1 mm then try to strike and light the butane lighter, and you will notice you have fewer strikes without ignition. If not better move that same tiny stem an extra 1 mm but do not go any higher. Now you will have no more 10-15 clicks per successful flame. It worked for me on 3 of these devices. These devices are shipped with the spark really low, so the puff of butane simply BLOWS AWAY any chance of ignition. But moving the spark higher, it is in a slower speed of butane and a wider area which can more easily strike and ignite butane. I am not a Lighterologist, but this worked for me. Good Day.

The media could not be loaded. Top won’t close-and it’s not my lighter because Zippo brand inserts fit fine. It’s a shame because it lights every time, unlike the awful Zippo butane inserts.

I love the look and fill of a zippo, but I don't use a soft flame when I smoke cigars. This allows me to use my cool zippo case but have the light I want for my cigars. I have gifted a few of these and if I find a deal on them, I usually buy the lot for gifts. Everyone I have gifted them to love them as well.

My only issues are that it doesn't properly fit my 07 zippo and it only works on higher flame settings. Other than that it's a perfectly consistent and refillable option for those looking to switch off of fluids

Short and sweet! Been using them for about 2 years. This is my 3rd (that’s right they only last 6-9 months if you use em every day. They light 1st time every time till they don’t. Bought the zippo version this last time and returned it right away. 2 things about zippo, it does not light 1st time (and all the reviews agree;) and because it is solid you cannot see how much fluid is in it when you are filling it or of it needs refilling. Hope this helps.

Its a great product! I’ve been using it now for a few years and Im surprised it still works. Its cheap and yet still reliable. I especially like that you can see how full it is, where others don't give you that ability. I usually can light and when necessary re-light around 6 cigars before a re-fill is needed. When it stops working and it will I’ll gladly repurchase it.
