Fits perfect and works well on 2020 Mazda CX5 GT. Installation was easy. Powers a Vioffo 329S 3Channel dash cam.

2021CX-30 turbo Approved! Super Easy install.
Worked perfectly for my 2021 CX-30 Turbo dash cam project. My dash camera used a micro USB so I had to find a USB-C (from dongle) to micro USB (Camera) adapter wire. The USB wire I used had right hand 90deg angles, so the wires will not get stressed in the cramped rearview mirror shroud. This dongle fits nicely under the plastic shroud for the light-sensing rear mirror. All you see is like 4 inches of wire going to my camera. Thank you for making this product, as every dang wire I tried was "always on". These new cars are not easy to tap into a power supply that is off when the car is off.

Did not work for my 2021 CX9
I have a 2021 CX9. I ordered the 10 pin e type adapter after both cking the information here and on the manufacturer website for the correct unit. It fit perfectly however after 60 secs exactly it would turn off and then turn back on repeatedly until I either unplugged it or turned off the recording process. I submitted a return and received my money back but was told to not bother returning. If anyone has a fix or found one that works Please post your results. This is my second unit and the other works perfectly.

Such A Great Item
If you are putting a dash cam in your car, this little device is amazing. It isn't cheap but it is worth the extra money. You don't have to fish long cords all over your car. Just unplug the powered mirror and connect this. It was pretty easy to do. If you aren't sure how to get to your mirror power cord, you can do an internet search and find lots of videos to help. It comes with several different short cords to accomodate whatever power cord need your dash cam has. The main thing you need to watch is that you get the correct style for your car. This is a 10-pin Type E (worked in a 2021 Mazda CX-9). Basically you should unhook your mirror power source and take some pics, then come back and make sure what you have looks the same as the white parts of this. The power is only "on" when the car is running which I like because I don't want to worry about battery drainage. However do know that if you use this the camera will be off unless the car is running.

This adapter is compatible for my mazda vehicle. It is small and it hides perfectly behind the mirror. It comes with short USB cables, so no need to buy extra cable to reach your camera. It powers on and off with the ignition, so I never worry about it killing my car battery. Just make sure your mirror has the 10-pin connector and is the auto-dimming type. To me, the price is a little high.

Excellent product, great compatibility for Mazda models
It worked just fine for my Mazda CX-30 2026. It was kind of difficult to dismount the plastic piece on the car ceiling, but after getting it done it's really easy to finish the adapter install. Works just fine with 5v power for my dashcam.

Clean install. Recommend.
Helped me make a very clean install for my Dashcam. I would get this again. I don't believe there are any issues at the time of writing. Installed for 5 months so far
