No it doesn’t. All it has it a Ethernet port for direct internet connection and a hdmi port, I plugged my hdmi into hdmi arc on tv and it sets itself up, auto flicks between whatever your doing on tv and sound is always there. 10/10 product

Does the arc use standard fig8 power cable

Within the Arc operating instructions, it clearly states that one must use the “ Figure of 8 that is supplied with the Arc” and not to use a third party one. For pig iron, I tried using a Furutech NCF figure of 8 connector and it would not work. It seems that my Furutech plug would not fully insert, similar to the lead supplied by Sonos. I hope this helps

Can this be added to a Google home speaker group?

Not certain but I think the answer is No. I believe Google uses it’s own system or bluetooth, whereas Sonos uses it’s own app. which is what I use. For example, if I want to plkay music from my iPhone or Apple’s Music app, I can’t do it direct, I also have to use the Sonos app to do so. Whilst this is annoying, the sound reproduction from Sonos has to be heard to be believed.

While Arc is a replacement for Playbar in our line-up, in order to use higher resolution audio formats with Arc, you will need a TV that supports HDMI eARC, or a TV that is capable of passing Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, or Dolby TrueHD over HDMI ARC.
