I love the Cathe step DVD’s so when I saw that she made a relatively new one (2019) I was excited. She maintains her usual style in that she does a lot of moves that, if you’re familiar with other DVD’s of her, are similar. She has also thrown some new moves in, which is nice and makes it challenging, not boring! I would say it’s lower impact in comparison to her other step DVD’s which is actually nice for me because I have knee issues.She actually breaks down a few of the more complicated moves so that was a nice touch. My only complaint is that I feel like it’s a little too repetitive. Example: in the warm up she has you do the same few moves over and over.

To begin with I have been doing step and floor workouts for a few decades and have managed to learn new routines without any problem. From Fonda to Kathy Smith to Kelly Roberts to Cher, have worn out items and had to repurchase.I was hoping to get new routines and went with the cathe items. Figured since it said Low Impact and easy to learn it would be interesting. However I have found them to be way too fast paced, hard to follow and not well taught. Have decided not to continue with the discs. Maybe someone else has the patience to learn these but I am looking elsewhere. Just not for a beginner or even an intermediate which I consider myself to be. If I could return them I would.

Awesome and challenging workout

New moves incorporating old ones that are favorites. Never a dull moment throughout this dvd. I even love the bonus step routine!! Honestly, I had pulled away from step over the past couple of years but this brought me right back. Overall a fun dvd that works out your body and mind!! :) Highly recommended for those who love doing step routines.
