The book has a lot of color photos and drawings to illustrate what is being discussed and has some projects as well. Has sections on metals and tools. This was a gift for my son and he was very pleased with it and the fact that it was spiral bound so he doesnt have to worry about propping the book open. Would recommend. MM

I got this book learning about blacksmithing it has a lot of details even watching videos don't explain worth the money if you are new to blacksmithing it has things that you need to know I recommend buying it

Perfect gift for my husband

I really enjoyed this book! It is a well written book by an experienced blacksmith. The photographs throughout the book are almost as good as the actual content. I am a beginner blacksmith and this was the first thing I purchased when I decided I wanted to start smithing. I think it was the perfect first purchase, because it thoroughly lays out exactly what tools are needed. As I stated before, it is beautifully illustrated and the book flows well. The projects listed are complete and easy to comprehend (the actual work is not so easy lol). I find myself constantly returning to it as a reference. If you are interested in blacksmithing I highly recommend this book as your first purchase.
