My three year old son LOVES all Hairy Maclary's and Slinky Malinki books. We read them every night and he can recite them from the memory now. Rimes are easy and stories are fun. We collected all books in this series except one which we could not get even through the book vendor in the Great Britain.

Another great Hairy Mclary book. Nice rhyming book that young kids love.easy to keep the kids attention and they can say part of the sentence with you as its on all the pages.

The books from this author are ALWAYS delights. honestly, this is my favorite of hers, but it doesn't hold my son's attention. I think he is too young; there is more text per page than some of the Hairy Maclary books (he is 18 months old now). This would be a winner for a child 2.5 or older, I think.

Wonderful story in rhyme, with bright, warm drawings to accompany the story. It's a joy to read aloud. Look for the other books by Lynley Dodd, too: they are delightful!

We have read many Hairy Maclary books and I must say, this one about Schnitzel von Krumm is fast becoming a favourite. It is funny, the illustrations are perfect and the children like the repetition of absolutely not (or something along those lines). Another winner from Lynley Dodd. Love it, love it, love it! Most importantly, the children are totally engaged while we read this to them.

Rhyming fun with our favourite animals

I have recently been reading the advertures of Schitzel Von Krum and his very low tum with my young son, who loves Schnitzel and his other books we have also bought Dogs cant climb trees and it is innocent and heart warming children's stories at their very best and seeing Schnitzel cry in this book is heart breaking.I also recommend other related characters collections such as Hairy Maclary, Scar face Claw and Slinky Malinki which is just fantastic to read
