Finally a book kids can relate to! This book addresses the problem kids face today of bullying. Just like cancer victims lose their hair, Mr. Chicken Butt lost his butt feathers and faced ridicule. In the end, Mr. Chicken Butt finally feels like he fits in for the first time in his life. Full of humor and quirkiness that knows no age limits!

This is a great book for not only children, but also the adults who read to them. There's a lot of humor on the children's level plus several inside jokes at the adult level that actually made me laugh. The drawings are a lot of fun and kids like to name all the characters on the last page. Most importantly, this book has a great message: be happy with who you are, defects and all. It's a real confidence booster. I've bought several copies of this book for the parents in my family and friends with kids. Our local school library even added it to their curriculum. Well worth the purchase!
