SHANY 'Fix Me Up' Makeup Kit - Compact Travel Makeup Portable Giftable Adult and Teen Makeup Set Eye Shadows, Lip Colors, Blushes, and Applicators

I'll preface by saying that this is one of maybe 3-4 reviews I've ever felt compelled to write. I'd bought this for my makeup-obsessed kindergartner daughter to keep her out of my (super expensive!) high-end makeup, thinking it would be a cheap way to get her a bunch of colors to choose from and it included lipstick, blush, and a ton of eyeshadow (I didn't know it had mascara too at the time) and her own applicators. I expected about dollar store quality with crappy color payoff but, ya know, it's for a child and more options and cheaper than a kid-specific makeup kit. HOLY CRAP. I am so blown away with the quality of these, the color payoff is so good. The eyeshadows and blushes are SO pigmented and there are some really nice colors, I've started poaching some of her makeup in secret! The blushes are not my color but I like the bronzer-y one and use that a lot too. I had been using the same mascara for years and had never found one that I really loved- both high end and drugstore, but I almost exclusively "borrow" her mascara now. I wish there was a way to just buy a stand-alone tube of it. And the price of the whole kit is like half of the price of one tube of the mascara I'd previously been using, which is insane. I'm seriously thinking of just buying a bigger kit just for myself and hiding it! Crazy high quality for the price, a way better product than I assumed I was purchasing. It's great.

This strikes a good balance between affordability and quality. It’s good enough for most occasions, certainly more than good enough for the office and casual parties, while being easy on the wallet. It’s also quite convenient to carry around. I would throw in a small set of brushes, at least for home use, to get better results, but that’s a good to have not a have to have. The makeup goes on easily, stays on well, and looks great. The wide variety of colors, to coordinate with any outfit and any occassion is a big plus, and they really do provide a well-curated selection.

This is a nice quality set and the colors are great. It is however very small compared to what I thought it was gonna be. It has everything needed to apply. It was purchased as a gift for my niece and luckily her little hands will have no issue using it. Only reason it is 4 star is because of its size. Do i regret getting this, no! Will I order another set probably not without maybe reading the reviews better.

Purchased this for my granddaughter. It arrived early. It contained a variety of makeup. They really liked it. I'm not sure how it looked because I had it shipped directly to them.

Smaller than i thought

This is a very good product

it was very pigmented but a little smaller then i thought the lip gloss was not sticky at all nothing had a smell very good texture very easy to apply and went on smooth i thought it was a great product

The packaging is secured, product is amazing, its a complete set. Make up colors are nice. I love it!!!
