I don’t usually write reviews, but this one deserves it. The EZ Dose pill cutter/splitter works exactly as advertised—clean, precise cuts every time with no crumbling or wasted medication. The blade is sharp and lines pills up perfectly, even smaller ones that are usually hard to split. It’s also really easy to use and feels sturdy, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried. The compact size makes it convenient to keep at home or take on the go. If you need to split pills regularly, this is a simple, reliable tool that gets the job done right. Definitely a 5-star product.

While I was out of town, my friend shared her husband's pill cutter with me. I don't know this exist and had been using a knife to cut pills in half. This product works well for me.

it could cut a little better, sometimes one side grumble and is no longer usable ( pill splitting ability is ok most of the time) therefore the 4 stars. however, it's easy to use and it's safe to use.

Pretty useful little tool for cutting pills. The blade is sharp enough to split most tablets cleanly, and the V-shaped holder helps keep things in place while you cut . The built-in compartment is a nice touch so you can store halves without needing another container. That said, it’s not perfect—smaller or oddly shaped pills don’t always split evenly, and you might get a bit of crumbling. Still, for the price and convenience, it does the job well enough for everyday use.

Pill cutter was reasonable but cutting quality was poor

Poorly designed. You will be lucky to get a 50/50 split. If you delve deep enough into the company's own description, buried in their verbiage, they admit that a 60/40 split is more likely. If that works for you then OK. I have a weak hand from a stroke and opening the contraption was challenging for me, as well. YMMV. I got a refund and went to a local big box store and found some that is a much closer approximation to my needs.

I needed a way to cut my child’s meds in half bc of a dosage change on a couple of them and I have tried a knife and just using my fingers and, while those methods do work, they don’t work consistently. Sometimes the pills just crumble completely and that obviously isn’t the outcome needed. I purchased this pill cutter and it has worked perfectly every single time I have used it so far. I like that it is small and will travel well. It looks nice and isn’t a big tacky contraption. I like that if I need to store the pills during cutting there is space for that (it retains a decent amount of tiny halves). I don’t mind that it’s plastic the metal blade is doing all of the cutting work. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small pull cutter. I have used it for tiny pills and larger pills and it is quite versatile in size cutting also.

Its okay. It cuts my pills and can store the extra piece. The lid closes fine. It doesn't feel very durable but its been able to cut through pills no problem. A lot better than using a knife on a table.
