Bluetooth Hearing Amplifier (R&L G25BT)

This is NOT a hearing aid; rather it is an amplifier. It does amplify sounds. All sounds. So, it can be annoying at times when it's too noisy around. In a quiet environment, though, it works fairly well; in fact, I have had hearing aids before, and this is not much worse than the expensive units. A bright spot with this brand is its bluetooth capability, which allows me to hear on my cell phone so much better.You're not going to achieve great hearing with any hearing device, but these will do in a pinch. I will say that I cannot hear myself while wearing this through that ear (it's like talking while having your fingers in your ears), so I hear myself with the unaided ear and use the aid to hear outside noises/sounds. But that can be confusing at times, since one uses both ears to location the direction of the sound.I would seriously consider buying this brand again.

First the good stuff. As a hearing assist device, these work reasonably well if, as with many, your primary hearing loss is in the upper frequencies. Unlike other similar devices, these have Bluetooth (!!) but they give up any mode selection to adjust the amplified frequency band to help intelligibility when there's background conversations etc.Cons: Bluetooth, the reason I bought these, is all but useless. Sends music to only one ear piece at a time, no stereo, and sound is tinny with no bass. Still, that's not my major complaint, as I was hoping these would eliminate the scramble to remove a hearing aid to put on a Bluetooth headset to answer the phone. These would obviate the need to swap, as you only have to push the Bluetooth button to answer the call. Then you can hear the caller clearly. Unfortunately they can't hear you very well at all.When Bluetooth turns off, as when pausing music or hanging up, the headset cycles between a series of buzzing noises and chirps for what seems like several minutes. The noise is at a lower volume than the amplified audio, though still distracting.I'm returning these.

Great for any person who needs a hearing boost. Batteries last longer than I thought they would. My mom uses these every day and they HELP ALOT. The are small but she can still put them on herself. She really likes them. THANK YOU !!!!!! They also do not squeal whenever she gets a hug like her last pair did. These are much cheaper than her over expensive custom fit brand and frankly... they work better. My mom know talks on the phone again and can hear us !!!!

Having severe problem with the hearing amplifier staying charged...only 2 hours at a time

GET THIS!! I haven't had a "non shouting" conversation w/Dad in 25+ years until I put this in his ear. It was miraculous! Was not expecting much but IT WORKS! It made me emotional to be able to converse like normal people after SO many yrs of him being left out. I strongly urge you to try it. You may change their life and yours!!

Quality seems very good. So far it has been working as stated. It has taken me a little bit to get accustomed to something in my ear but after a day or so I do not notice it. I would recommend the product and the supplier.

Bought this so I could use the Bluetooth functionality as well as the hearing aid. The battery dies after 4 hours of using rhe Bluetooth
