Which way around does it go? Also any tips to stop it sliding off head/neck

I watched a u tube video before using it. the large pad goes under your neck. If used properly it is a fantastic tool.

Can it be hanged to a window knob (roughly 150 cm or 5 feet from the floor)?

I dont think it would be long enough
