Okay, when I came across Storm Song on TikTok, I had REALLY high hopes for this book. I love erotic fiction. A reverse harem fantasy novel promoting female empowerment and sexual autonomy??? Hell yes! Promised super steamy sex scenes? Sign me up! So my expectations were really high but I was honestly left really disappointed. There were a good many typos. The plot and world building left much to be desired. The characters and dialogue were lack luster. The sex scenes were INSANELY rushed and nondescript. I really, really wanted this book to be good, and its premise was honestly really promising, but it just fell short in every important way. That isn't to say that this author isn't still talented and to a promising start- I don't really know much about her writing history or experience but I'd say for someone *learning* to write a book, she should be proud of herself. But it unfortunately does not shine as a novel in its own right.

This story has potential but it was a bit rushed. English not being my first language i could easily find grammar errors and it distracted me a little. I love a good fast burn RH and insta-loved stories but this was a too rushed, the sex scenes were done quickly, like wham bam thank you mam, no real foreplay. The vampire males characters, Colt, Finn and Drax are not your typical badass, alpha or a$$ like we usualle read about. They are damaged males with no real guts. Maybe it will change in later on in the series.I liked the Hunger Games/ The Purge vibes of the story and it had plenty of action. Like i said this story has potential for a first read from this author. Great ending with that cliffhanger makes me wants to grab the next book to see what will happen next.P.S. Gorgeous cover!! I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. I enjoyed this book. It was about a girl who lives in a world where vampires have taken over. She lives with her sick mother. Each year the vampires choose several humans to do a trial and the girl was the first woman to be chosen. It reminded me of hunger games but with vampires. How can you wrong with vampires? The writing was good, the character and world build were on point. I am glad I read this book. I am not sure if this is this author's first book or if she has many. I will continue on with the story once her next book is out.

I liked the story line but everything felt super rushed. Id seen your tiktok vids about it and was super excited to give it a read. Again it felt rushed like everything happened so fast even the small sex scenes. I think its a brilliant idea and a good story line i just feel like there could of been so much more to it then what was written. The sex in the book was very short and disappointing. If there had been more between the characters and more foreplay it would have been bomb. I felt like the characters opened up there personal lifes way too fast. Scar barely knew drax and he poured his heart out to her after setting up a bad boy sorta attitude. The fact that there was no sex when colt was butt naked finding scar naked in his room in his bath tub was a little disappointing. Anyways definitely give this book a read its a good story line.

This book is very fast paced and keeps your attention. She gets straight to the point and doesn’t leave you hanging waiting for things to build. It’s full throttle the entire time and I’m here for it. The book is a cross between all of the things I love and I can’t wait to read the next in this series and more from this author! I purchased this book on my own from seeing her videos on TikTok and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Poorly written. No character depth. Sad spin off of the hunger games but with supernaturals involved, had the potential to be good but fell short.

I enjoyed this take on Vampires. They have taken over New York and broken it into triads. The trials are held and Scarlett gets to represent her triad. I enjoyed her character and the Vampires that surfaces during the trials. The ending of this book was a cliffhanger and I can't wait t dive into book 2.

I loved the premise of this story and the world building was fantastic! I enjoyed the characters and interactions, but I feel like the book would have been better if it were longer! The story and characterizations moved fast and felt a bit lacking because of that.Overall a good read and I am looking forward to another book so I can get to know the characters more.

Scarlette is your average human in the middle of human vs Vampire. In the Vampire trials Scarlette is the only woman EVER to be entered into the trials. The trials to stay alive. She wants to stop the trials all together but some certain vampires are in her way.Can not wait to see what happens next ❤️

I am honestly in love with this book. It took me 2 days to finish it (which I never usually read that fast) but I would highly recommend it if you enjoy thing like hunger games and like some steamy erotica too. There were a few typos but overall, this is an amazing book

Such an amazing book, i read it start to finish in the same day. i have never read a book so fast in my life. i can’t wait to continue reading the series. would highly recommend.

BEST BOOK EVERR the storyline was so good and unpredictable that’s what I loved about it I can’t wait to get book 3 for Christmas

Great potential story line, however was very rushed and an expensive book for only 224 pages.
