I wanted to find a pillow that was the right blend of affordability and quality. After 2-3 weeks of reading reviews (on amazon and externally) and a handful of procrastination finally decided on this pillow.I don’t regret the purchase at all. As someone who has always used the ‘standard’ cheap pillows you can by from practically anywhere I was dubious about what benefits there might be.No more ‘crick in the neck’ no more ‘side to side head rolls’ to ease those muscles in the morning, and no more ‘fluffing up the pillow’ in the middle of the night.Took the advice of other reviewers and aired it out for a few days. My partner didn’t like the “factory smell” it arrived with (although I didn’t mind it) but that’s gone now.I was going to remove some of the foam after it arrived - as it looked huge and only just fit into a standard pillow case - but I’m glad I didn’t as the foam settles after several days of use and moulds nicely in to a comfortable shape. It can be reshaped if required, but typically moulds back to how you best sleep on it.Great purchase.

My search for the perfect pillow has taken almost 20 years, but I’ve finally found it. This is so comfy - you can even change the height by adding or taking away filling to get the perfect comfort. Most importantly it’s extremely cool, I no longer have to turn the pillow over when it gets too hot

Not the best pillow I'd had, but not the worst, adjusting the pillow as stated does make it more comfortable, but its not amazing I've had better to be honest, and if I'm being honest its a little too pricey for what it is.the bits inside don't keep cool when I'm sleeping on it so that gimmick has gone out the window, but it is better than many other pillows I've tried, so this is why i don't regret buying it I just regret paying so much for it, its one of those things that shouldnt cost more than 20-30 quid.Just an ok decent buy until I find my old type pillow which was more comfortable.p.s Just remember to take out some of those little things if you do buy it cause its way too firm off the purchase and has a really strong chemical smell don't know what that is but most of it seems to fade over time.Update-2020-2024After using it for some years, I found something out, the inside of the pillow case breaks apart and in little pieces, I had to spend 1 hour vacuuming the bits up as I took it out, it's been through a few washes, but apparently the materials don't last longer than 1 year, this is rather an expensive pillow for a 1 year durability. I really don't think it's worth the value sorry I took a star off due to value vs material quality currently 80 quid, should cost 30 quid.I uploaded a video of the problem, this may happen under a year time for all I know, because I didn't check it for a year and I passed it off as a problem with manufacturing, then realise that £55 spent wasn't worth this kinda damage, it's so annoying to vacuum the bits out. This is definitely a 20-30 quid pillow.

Since I've had this pillow I no longer have shoulder pains in the night. The pillow is generously filled, I like my pillow quite soft so I took half of the memory form out and will use it to stuff another pillow.

This LUFF Prestige Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow certainly arrives fully stuffed and unless you're a side-sleeper with broad shoulders it's almost certainly going to need some of the foam chips inside removed. Actually I am a side-sleeper with broad shoulders and even I took some out to reduce the trampoline effect slightly. The pillow has two covers, the outer one being a padded Bamboo rayon cover, and they're both made to a good standard and have easy-open zips. Before you open the inner cover to liberate the excess foam chips you should find a place where escapee chips can be easily caught again because as soon as you open the zip they'll make a run for it. I found the easiest technique was to use just one hand and grab a handful, squeeze them in your fist and transfer them into a bag or old pillowcase before letting them go.The product description claims the chips are memory foam and that they're infused with cooling gel, I saw no sign of either of those things. If it's memory foam then it's become very forgetful because it doesn't hold a shape and then slowly recover like most memory foam does. It could just be a lighter grade of memory foam, I don't know, but mine is not the same colour or appearance as the stuff shown in the photo's above.That aside, it's a comfy pillow once you get the height right although it always remains quite firm and bouncy. If you've ever slept on latex pillows like Dunlopillo then you'll be familiar with the feeling of support and resilience, they conform to your head but you don't really leave an head-shaped dent in them, they bounce right back. If you like that sense of support then these are lovely pillows but if you prefer something more compliant then you might not get along with them. Either way it's relatively easy to adjust the size and support to suit yourself which is a welcome feature in a pillow.
