If you removed the string attached, it could it just isn't as durable as a real baton.

How do I get new Batteries? Mine came w/dead batteries?

Hello, We sincerely apologize for any confusion! These lights have a new feature called the 'eLock'. This function is to prevent your lights from turning on during transit. To remove eLock hold the lights down for 5-10 seconds until they flash red. Your lights will then turn on and function normally. To lock your lights, turn your lights OFF as normal then hold down the button until it flashes red. Select high red to lock or select low red to exit. If your lights still continue to malfunction please message us directly with your order number and we will further assist you.
