Rug & Carpet Protector

Easy to use. No smell. No notice of inhalant - No fog of it to the face like bug spray does or spray sunscreen. No bleeding issues in this rug, did a test spot. Rug came away same as before the spray, didn't feel or look too different, maybe a little loss in softness but that may adjust as the spray is still less than 24 hours on. Can't speak to actual stain guard at this point so far, a good purchase. It did cover a good area. My rug is bigger than 5x7 so I will need a second can. Wanted to test one before getting a second. Items I've had professionally Scotchguarded was worth the expense so I think this will be a good investment. It is sort of like a spray paint nozzle so my hand got sore before finishing but I just took breaks in spraying.

Great investment to protect the carpet! Has worked great for us, have been able to get all spills out of rugs without leaving stains.

This stuff is awesome!!! I purchased a predominantly white rug for my kitchen knowing it would see heavy traffic and get filthy and wanted to protect it as specific design runners are hard to find. This absolutely did the trick! This pic is after treatment, heavy use, and washing! The rug still looks brand new, which is what I wanted! It has no odor, dries decently fast but that depends on how thick you spray it, easy to apply, and works great if used by directions, isn't sticky but does leave a film that you can feel, great price point for the type of product it is, and is very durable-the rug was down for over a month before washing. I now keep this on hand!

I had purchased the larger 17-ounce Scotchgard Rug & Carpet Protector and the nozzle did not clog and the substance foamed. You should mask with tape, plastic, or old towels to cover all things not to be sprayed. Scotchgard can discolor items. It faded a small piece of black plastic molding inside my 2023 Camry XSE V6 when spraying the all-weather textured floor carpeting inside the Camry. The Camry floor mats are made of some new type of unfamiliar material and using Scotchgard made little difference in its appearance or cleaning them. I can only assume that Scotchgard does work, therefore giving it 3 Stars. 4 attached photos of brand-new Camry floor mats first time ever installed in the car with Scotchgard treatment. I hope to be able to remove dirt, road and driveway oils, and other filth with ease when cleaning the floor mats. Otherwise, going back to the All-Weather rubber mats that came with the Camry. I purchased the Camry TRD mats separately because I like the Red borders and it gives the interior a better appearance than everything being Black. It is not a Camry TRD but an XSE V6 which is so much better than a TRD which lacks several amenities such as split fold-down back seats to extend the trunk, dual zone climate control, and more.

Very easy to use with good results. Sprays on easily and has very minimal smell. Happily recommend product.

No where on the item description or in the pictures does it talk about the potential harmful affect of the product on heart. It says it can be fatal as well. Surprised Amamzon is selling such a hazardous material on its site without any disclaimer!
