Best feeder I have ever had
Purchased at the beginning of the year. I went 2 months and only was feeding the squirrels and raccoons. I did notice deer tracks around it, but never set a camera on it. At the 3 month mark I started noticing the deer coming to it before dark, one or two normally (Have a camera on it now). This is now the 5th month with the feeder, and the deer visit it all the time. I did go with the PVC on the T-post. It slowed down the squirrels and stopped the raccoons. I painted my PVC. Back to the deer, I have regulars every day and some others on a 3 day cycle. What would I have done different... I let my feeder go dry for a week solid on 2 different occasions, I should not have done that. I should have put the PVC on at the beginning instead of waiting to see if it was necessary. The feeder gets my top rating. Holds up and is built good. I would recommend this to everyone looking for another feeder. My corn last so much longer with this feeder. The only down turn is how long it took the deer to get custom to it. I am Past that now and are getting the deer fat and happy...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Coon proof if you do it right.
So far, LOVE IT. Really simple, seems like it will work great. I really dont see how its going to be an issue with the coons, don't have my game camera out yet but its full and been up for a few days and even in some really HEAVEY storms. Thus far, HIGHLY recommend. Update 10/26/18 Had two of these for two seasons now. They are the BEST!! They are so simple, tough, and I have not had ONE, SINGLE, ISSUE with coons, or anything other than deer. ANY of the complaints about coons are putting them to low to the ground. I have coons everywhere and not one picture of a coon getting feed.

Good product
Like the subtle color. Seems sturdy enough. Super easy to instal. I like that it holds grain n doesnโt spill on the ground. Looks like deer have not yet eaten from it even though they are roaming near by.

Not raccon proof, as you can see from the photo.
I put it up as per the instructions. It took a while but the racoon managed to climb that pole and was eating the corn. The coon had to struggle to climb that pole but it managed to do it.

Hey Deer hunters this is the ticket. After a few days of installing I was worried. No deer traffic on my camera. BUT a week and half later they are all use to it eating out of it. As another person mentioned try to get a 8' T post to support the weight when full. If not it shakes a lot dispensing feed onto the ground. Also invest in a piece of 3-4" pvc and thread T-post through it. Prevents raccoons and others to get to the food. I Have a large dog so will also be purchasing another one for him to place on outside patio...UPDATE (8/2/17) I've been using all type of feeders for over 35 years. Hands down this is the best. I have two of these set up and have learned the following: You must use PVC pipe to thread the T-post. This did not eliminate the squirrels from climbing it. As mentoned, in previous reviews, use a 2-gallon bucket with the pvc pipe. ALSO what I found was most important was to be careful where you place this. MAKE SURE you place this at least 7-10' from any trees and limbs. Camera captured squirrels jumbing from the trees and branches to the top of feeder. They then spend hours chewing on the top eventually making holes in the top. I have had to patch holes in both tops before cutting some small trees down around the feeder. Per my game cameras Squirrels get very aggresive once the feeder is dry & are very persistent in trying to get to the top of feeder. I also learned NOT to paint the PVC pipe. This only gave more traction for the squirrels to climb.
