Amore Paste Tube Garlic

This is my second tube. I love the convenience and the simple ingredients. It lasts for a long time and you only need a little for a lot of flavor.

I LOVE this product. It adds such flavor to my Italian dishes. I add it to my veggies with some olive oil, and it transforms them to another level.

I'm a lazy cook. I love garlic but don't like the peeling, chopping or crushing. Plus every garlic press I've ever had is a pain to clean. The taste is really good. It's best used in soups, sauces, casseroles, slow cooker recipes. You wouldn't want to use it in a recipe that calls for whole cloves or sliced garlic....but for everything else it's great. A quick squeeze and you have all the garlic you need within seconds.

My favorite alternative to fresh garlic -- so glad it's available on Amazon, since my local groceries have stopped carrying it. I know it's not hard to peel a clove of garlic and crush it in a garlic press... but some nights, any cooking shortcuts involving good-quality ingredients are welcome! I like that this has minimal added ingredients (and no ingredients I don't recognize), and that it really does taste like garlic with no off flavors.* It tends to burn a little quicker than fresh-pressed garlic, so I don't add it until most of the other sauteeing is done. *At least when cooked. I haven't ever used it in recipes where raw garlic is needed (such as aioli) since I don't like the taste of raw garlic.

It has less acidic taste compared to less garlic, its a disappointment. In future I strict to raw garlic cloves instead of this tube.
