The item is exactly as described. Easy to use with the ball form and the square are great also. Doesn't take up much room in the freezer and one thing to remember is that because the forms are bigger does take longer to freeze, so remember that for party planning.

My expectations were low but I'm pleasantly surprised by this product. I was a bit put off by how difficult it is to get the ice spheres/cubes out of their trays but I've managed to develop a method drawing from my memories of the old days when refrigerators didn't have ice makers. I keep freezer bags of each version ready to use (I used brown paper bags back in the day). A large freezer bag will hold about 16 cubes or about 13 spheres and close tightly. When it's happy hour, depending on what cocktail I've decided to make for myself and what the bride has ordered, I will take out either the cube or sphere tray and bring it directly to the kitchen sink and give it a quick rinse of cold tap water. Now I go to the designated freezer bag and take out what I need. Once the cocktails are mixed and served the ice tray is now loose enough to just squeeze out the spheres/cubes. They go into the freezer bags to replace or increase what I took, the tray is refilled and everything goes back into the freezer no fuss no muss and no wrestling with frozen silicone. Now that it's all easy peeezy I'm thinking about making a batch of colored spheres for the punch bowl to keep the freeloaders entertained. Don't tell the bride as she already thinks I'm taking up too much room in the freezer. I'm having fun with this product and recommend it. It's a great ice-breaker at parties (pardon the pun). Enjoy!

Perfect ice ball

Absolutely perfect. They don't take up much room in the freezer and it allows you to have a big cube ready for an Old Fashioned on the spur of the moment!

UPDATE:Recently, the seller contacted me and offered me a refund for my purchase. For customer service I didn’t even ask for/expect, I am updating the review to 5 stars, and will purchase againINITIAL REVIEW:the plastic on the ice sphere mold is pretty brittle after being subjected to the freezer. It doesn’t handle falls out to the freezer very well. Mine chipped and cracked. I’m effectively down to 2 sphere molds now.My lunchbox ice packs handle the falls regularly. So these molds must not be using a freezer optimized plastic.Oh well. These molds made nice cubes and spheres, though. The silicone cube molds does what it supposed to.

The ice cubes are still a little hard to remove from the trays. I have only filled them twice so I’m hoping they’ll get a little easier. If someone has any secrets how to get them out easier I’d love to hear how. I really do like this bigger size.
