This washer is amazing and a perfect size for apartments. If I had a house I would still have this machine. I’m 5’11” 205lbs and I can was 5 jeans, 3 or 4 hooded sweat shirts, a few underwear’s and few pairs of socks. Right now I’m washing one of those big blankets with fake fur and cotton on other side and I had to write review because this machine is great. The blanket covers my whole California King Bed and hangs down to where you can’t see the bed. The machine washed and spun it without any trouble. I use this machine 2 times a week and do about 4-5 topped out loads each time and the machine handles it with ease. I bought a sink hook up hose and a bottom machine holder with good wheels for cheap off Amazon. My wife and I love this machine it’s super quiet as well. The water usage is good for me and it feels well built with good quality materials. I had it for about 6 months now and it works like the 1st day I got it. The drain hose it comes with has never came moved once. I always fine it how I left it when laundry is done. Also I have used all the washing cycles and times and they all worked perfectly. I would definitely buy this again in a heartbeat. Whoever gave it less than 5 stars is.nuts. This machine is worth more than. what you pay for it. I used to spend 3-4 hours in a laundromat and now I put a load in and watch tv. I would spend $50-60/week just on machines in NYC. Now it’s only the cost of detergent.

I’ve had this for about a month now. I live in an apartment. This machine has saved me money and trips to the shared laundry facilities. I’m not even sure if I’m allowed to have one in my apartment; I lost the move in papers, lol. However, I’m not worried about anyone hearing it, because it’s not that noisy at all. If the load is heavy or unbalanced, it will sound a lil crazy. Otherwise, the loudest thing is the beeps telling you it’s finished. I purchased a dolly to put it on. It was a bit of a struggle to put in on because one, I was by myself. Two, the handles on the sides aren’t in the same place. One is more to the front; the other the back. Weird. It’s not that heavy to lift though. It cleans my clothing really well. I can add 2 pairs of cargos, and 4 polos and a t shirt or 2, and they will all come out clean and spun almost completely dry! Same thing with 3 bath towels and some washcloths. I wash my queen sized sheets, flat, fitted and pillowcases in one go with no problem. One tip: try to ‘donut’ your clothing. Don’t just dump them in. Layer them in a ring around the drum as much as possible. It can hold a good amount of clothing but don’t overdo it. The water inlet hose was east to connect with the included adapter. It’s in my kitchen, so I only use cold water. You can actually use warm water if you want. However, make sure you only use hot water through the proper inlet. There’s two of them on the back of the machine. It says to use powder detergent, and it has a little holder for it, but I use liquid because that’s what I have on hand. As with any machine, a little goes a long way. Especially nowadays where liquid detergent is usually concentrated. I also use fragrance beads. They dissolve really well, no residue. The water fills up according to the load you select. If for any reason you need to stop the cycle, press the pause button first and let everything come to a stop. I feel this is better than opening the lid all sudden. I have mine draining into the sink. The hose has a hook for the sink edge, but I also just tie the hose to the inlet hose so it doesn’t spray wildly if it somehow unhooks off the edge. When storing the washing machine, I lay the ends of both hoses into the machine and leave the lid open so it can dry out. Overall, I feel this is a great investment for single person or two in an apartment with not so much space. If you treat it well, it will hold up.

This is one of the best life decisions I have ever made. I was using local laundromats for the longest time, and they kept increasing the costs of the machines, or the dryers didn't fully dry the clothes, of the washers didn't fully clean the clothes, the washers smelled bad, I had to wait to use machines in crowded laundromats, I had to deal with rude or inconsiderate customers - that's just some of the issues, there were so many more. And there was nothing within walking distance, so I had to load everything into the car and then hope for parking when I got home (I live in a city). Doing laundry was a miserable experience. And things have only gotten worse since then, with rents going too high for laundry businesses to continue or stay affordable of they do stay open, or building being torn down to build high-rise apartment buildings. Just misery all around trying to get laundry cleaned. When we got to the point where we were filling the tub to (inadequately) clean our clothing, I finally gave in and bought an apartment-sized washer - this one. My bathroom is very small, but the dimensions looked like I could make it work - and it did. The space is a little tighter in the bathroom now, but so worth it for the ability to do laundry at home - and at any time of the day So, about the washer: I got it in October 2024, and it is still working really well. No issues at all. (Well, not none, but they are user issues. We have forgotten to place the hose in the tub a few times and flooded the apartment. After doing that about 4-5 times, the trauma of cleaning up so much water and throwing ruined things away forced us to remember.) I hook the fill hose up to the bathroom sink as needed, place the drain hose in the tub, and life is good. To make the washer stay in good shape, I am really strict about keeping the washer tub clean - to avoid a soapy mess, I don't use the slide-out detergent cup for detergent, I just add the detergent directly on top of the clothing, and after every wash, I pull the detergent cup out and dump the water that gathers in it so it doesn't sit and get stagnant and smelly, and I wipe down the tub and inside of the lid so it doesn't stay wet between washings. My house-mate works in a restaurant kitchen, and even so, we have been able to keep the washer tub smelling almost new just by maintaining it this way. If I had more space I would have invested in an apartment-sized dryer, too, but I don't. As long as we space out the laundry loads, we can dry everything on clothes hangers on the shower rod, using clippy hangers for the towels indoors - I use over the door hanger holders to maximize drying areas - and when possible, I use a laundry rope and pins outside. If you're reading this because you're still considering buying a washer to make your apartment life easier, do it now, because I can't tell you how much I regretted not buying this sooner than I did. The $300 (give or take) that this costs quickly pays for itself in so many ways. Some of the other detail ideas listed below the review field here: Durability: Fantastic, but I recommend being strict with maintenance in order to make it durable. Water usage: I love that it has options for small to large loads (note that large loads are relative, but you can wash a large blanket in it, or several towels. I think this washer is best for small households, like mine. If you are a larger household and have to use it multiple times every day to keep up with laundry, the water usage and durability would be affected. We do about 5-6 loads a week.) Connectivity: It comes with a connector for the sink. If you have a washer connection in your apartment, you can hook up both filling hoses, but if you have only a sink, you will have to use only one hose and use the included valve cover to keep the second (hot) valve closed. The drain hose should be secure in a tub or clipped to a sink, otherwise the force of the water could make it jump out and flood the floor. (has happened to me) Fit: As I mentioned, this machine makes my small bathroom a little tighter to move around in, but the trade-off is more than worth it. Weight: It is too heavy to be lifted by one person, but it has wheels on one side on the bottom to move it around. Because I have to shift the machine for the hose to reach the sink every time I use it, I added a wheeled base with locking wheels underneath to make moving it a lot easier. Right now, I’m washing my clothes and thinking about how I really should leave a review for this machine. I’ve had it for about a year now, and it is exactly what I was looking for. I live in an apartment complex and I live on the second floor. Hauling laundry up and down the stairs is quite exhausting and this machine makes it so much easier. I don’t know why me and my husband go through so much laundry but we would spend roughly 45$ every time we went to the laundromat. Using this machine about 6 wash sessions pays for it (being that water is included in our rent). There is an additional matter of convenience that can also lead to this machine being much cheaper. When it was delivered, it was already delivered to the second floor, so I didn’t have to worry about the machine being heavy initially. The set up was very self-explanatory and quite easy. For my set up, I have the cold hose connected to my sink faucet. The machine comes with an adapter. Since I only have one water source, I just always wash on “cold” so it uses that pipe, but I just turned the faucet handle to whether I want hot, cold, or warm water. Since I attach it to my kitchen sink, the counter is taller and the water output hose has to be tied on something. I simply use my large detergent and a rubber band. The machine has wheels so I can easily take it from my storage closet and roll it into my kitchen. The size of the drum I have, I believe, is the 1.6 cubic. It is essentially the standard size of the washing machine in the complex. And the clothes always come out very clean. I’ve never had an issue with my clothes smelling after washing. One thing I was worried about was the noise being on the second floor. The machine is actually very quiet. The only time it gets a little louder is during the spin cycle, but if your machine is level, the noise is still very minimal and it only goes on for a short period of time. I also of course only wash during the day. I grew up hanging drying my clothes, so that’s what I usually do when they’re done. But for items such as pants and towels I just go down to my complexes dryer and spend the $1.25 on the dryer. Overall, an amazing machine and I have no complaints.

I absolutely love the size of this machine, size is perfect it's actually a pretty substantial tub and holds more than I expected. For one person I think this is perfect I also think even for two people if you simply want to keep up on your laundry this is phenomenal. One thing I've noticed I don't think the rinse cycle is as good as it could be however I don't really care if I really think the clothes need to be rinsed again I just run it through a rinse cycle again no big deal. It actually does a great job of washing the clothes. Recently I did my 3x4 rug and it came out great! I use the soak feature because I have pets and I actually treated the rug before I put it in what was great is I didn't have to wash it twice pictures of darn good job! I had this on a dolly but I think the dolly was crap because the whole machine was shaking like crazy. The moment I took it off the dolly this baby did not budge during the spin cycle it was solid. I did put soft pads on the two little feet in front simply because if you just need to maneuver it slightly when it's hard to move. Two wheels in the back are perfect and there are little hand cutouts each side of the machine that help get this up on the Two Wheels super easy if you can maneuver it to where you want to wash. It's such a great size it fits right behind the door in my bathroom so I don't have to drag this thing in and out of a closet - AWESOME!

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: It was the Downy fabric softener ball. Please be advised that if you use one of these in this machine, it will make a lot of racket. The machine is fine. I am sorry I did not thoroughly investigate the noise issue before posting the negative review. UPDATE: I have loved using this little machine, but after 2 weeks of doing laundry for one person, it is making a horrible noise when agitating. I will contact the company and see what my remedies are, but for now I must change my review to one star. Quality washers should last longer than two weeks! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I researched the heck out of these portable washing machines before selecting this one. It seemed to have the best combination of price, reviews, appearance and reputation. I unpacked it earlier today and fired it up. My biggest concern was that it would be too small. It isn't. The only things in my over-filled laundry baskets that would't fit are a king-sized quilt and a queen-sized mattress pad. Also, I love that there are a variety of cycles to choose from. You can wash for 2-12 minutes, rinse 1-3 times, spin for 5-55 (?!) mins, and choose an optional soak if you want it. There's a rapid wash cycle that runs a total of 15 minutes! I love that. So, lots of options. It's light. I got it up 15 stairs alone, and I'm a 60-year-old woman. Unboxing was easy, but I had a hard time getting the plastic base plate to slide in. Be patient and bend it a little and it will go in. On first impression, this was a nice-looking little machine. Does not look cheap, just small. Like somebody shrunk a full-sized washer. It comes up to my hip. Stainless steel interior, real glass lid and nice touch-panel button controllers. The top and panel come wrapped in clear plastic, so make sure to peel that stuff off. It is covered with a bunch of ugly "don't stick your head in this washer!" type stickers. Most of them were easy to remove, and I will put some goo gone on the rest. Setup was relatively easy. I have a laundry room with hookups and a drain, so I just hooked it up to the cold water line (no hot water line in this unit) and put the drain hose down the drain pipe. (Setup out-takes: I forgot to put the drain hose down the drain pipe initially. Was grateful for that floor drain!) Also: do not just open the lid when the machine is on. It will scream at you like a smoke detector. Push the "pause" button and you can open the lid and throw that found sock in. I've been doing laundry all day, and this thing is fabulous. Gets things clean, is relatively quiet (except for the beeping; more on that later) spins out a ton of water so that clothes are dry-damp when you take them out and dry quickly, and does a good job cleaning everything from bras to towels to tablecloths. According to the Energyguide label on the front, it should cost me SEVEN dollars a year to run it. Here are the negatives: I will still need to take comforters, etc. to the laundromat, but that might be 1-2 times per year. It beeps too much: I hate being beeped at, and this thing beeps for no good reason. For example, it beeps every time you select a wash type, and sometimes you have to push 6 times, so 6 beeps. Beeps multiple times at the end of every cycle. As far as I know, there is no way to mute the unnecessary beeps. The lint trap is a little dicey. It works, but it doesn't work great. You're supposed to clean it out about every 10 loads, but clean it after something linty, like towels. I made the mistake of washing a load of black pants right after a load of towels and they were a mess. I cleaned out the full lint trap and re-washed the pants and they came out perfect. It only has *one* leveling leg, which is just weird. Thankfully my location is level. All of these negatives considered, I still feel like I got the deal of the century for getting this little tiger delivered to my door for a little over $200. Now to begin the great portable dryer hunt . . .

I'm disappointed and I was hoping that maybe the situation would get better but it has not. I purchased the 0.9 Comfee Grey washing machine thinking it would be a game changer but.... LAWD HAVE MERCY!😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 This portable washing machine is terribly high maintenance, ANXIETY inducing and I have to watch it like a hawk!😒 Prior to buying this machine, I was washing my clothes by hand which was time consuming and tiring, but I wanted to save money. THIS washing machine is time consuming and tedious as well! Got me stressed outtttttt!!! For starters, the actual cord is SO friggen short that the machine can barely operate in my apartment anywhere other than the kitchen sink. I have to hook this machine up in my kitchen because there is a sink and outlet right there close to each other. So having a short cord is a BIG problem. Secondly, the drain hose, is also short and defies logic. There is no way to simply hook it on to the edge of a sink and allow water to drain. If you do that, I guarantee it will fall on to the floor and cause flooding.... ASK ME HOW I KNOW. 😐 TIP: Use tape to secure it near the sink. TRUST ME. The CYCLES. The cycles simply DO 👏🏾NOT 👏🏾WORK👏🏾. I loaded clothes (literally only three pieces of clothing) on the HEAVY cycle and the machine would continuously stop. That means, I would have to get up and open the machine to rearrange the clothes and restart. Then the machine would stop AGAIN. And AGAIN and AGAIN. I can literally NEVER leave this machine alone to do its job. NEVER. This machine continues to stop on the NORMAL load as well with two tshirts in it. RAPID LOAD setting works a bit better for washing clothes. So far, the only two load settings that actually works on my machine is the GENTLE cycle and the RAPID cycle. All other cycles are flawed and won't wash my clothes. And no, I am NOT packing this machine with clothes either. The **Gentle cycle** specifically washes my clothes all the way thru and allows me to wash a few pairs of jeans and a few tops WITHOUT intervention. It's the ONLY cycle that works and that works sensibly with adding enough water and rinsing and spinning. I only have to get up to make sure my sink doesn't over flow because this particular cycle adds alot of water into the machine. So when the water is draining into the sink, I have to get up and pause the cycle so my sink doesn't overflow. And then I restart it and let the rest of the water drain to the sink. This washer has wheels at the bottom which I do not use. I purchased a small dolly so my machine can navigate easier. I'm literally not moving it anywhere because remember, the cord is incredible short. The machine is relatively quiet like. I mean, of course you can hear it. The water sloshing around etc. I've even learned the sound it makes when it is about to go into its rinsing cycles. I give this Comfee washer ONE STAR because I paid over $210+ for something that doesn't entirely work. And the learning curve for using this washer is entirely INSANE. Washing machines are usually straight forward but with this washer, I have experienced large water messes all over my bathroom floor and constant anxiety about how it's working, water coming out of the drain hose unexpectedly and so many MANY things. Also, I have literally been doing laundry for the past 3 hrs and I have only washed the equivalent a 1 FULL load of laundry. Hand washing was a similiar time frame and results. So that means, I just spent $210+ on something that was suppose to make my life easier, yet I have to stand directly beside it, NEVER relaxing or taking my eye off of it or else a disaster may occur. That certainly feels like a waste of money to me. I like the fact that this machine is lightweight and that the Gentle cycle works the way a machine is suppose to. It is the only cycle where it doesn't stop 20,000 times just to wash a load. But I'm not paying JUST for the gentle cycle now am I??? I'm upset because I was so hesitant to buy another machine knowing how these machines can be a disaster. But, I bought this one and it doesn't even fully work. I can't stand dishonesty like that. I do believe my washing machine was new upon arrival and there were no dents to speak of. However, the gosh darn thing doesn't fully work and there are clearly glitches. I just wish I would have did more research BEFORE buying it. This machine had GLOWING reviews. But, it's really low key J-U-N-K. I'm just letting you all know because I am on a wind and a prayer hoping that this Gentle Gycle never gives out. There is another option of manually putting the water in the machine and then pressing the *WASH* option and your clothes will start to wash. It's all very involved and the machine doesn't DO what you actually paid for. It does maybe only HALF of what you're paying for. Just keep this in mind BEFORE purchasing. ONE star.

I wanted to wait after I used this a few times to write a review. So here it is. I've been on the hunt for a portable washing machine as an affordable alternative to a full sized washer for a few months now. I've looked at hundreds of listings before settling on this one. I even bought another washer that turned out to be a disaster (but I learned from it). Here's the breakdown: HOW IT HOOKS UP AND DRAINS: The lessons I learned were that I needed a model that would be compatible with standard washing machine hookups as I am lucky enough to have those. I don't want to keep on hooking it up and unhooking it every time I want to do a load. I'm on hospice and dying. There will come a time where I just won't be capable of doing that. This model can stay hooked up permanently just like a standard washing machine. Just smaller. A big plus. If you are going to use a faucet set up will be simple. You put the drain hose where you want it, hook the water hose up to your faucet & adjust the water temp, turn it on and your done. I also need a model that does not just use gravity to drain the water has I have a drain pipe that sits at 38 inches. The first machine I got advertised it to be compatible with dorms, apartments & RV's but yet it's drain pipe couldn't be elevated higher than 4 inches!! Where have you ever seen a dorm that has a floor drain? Most sinks, bathtubs, and toilets are all higher than 4 inches. Lesson learned: read the fine print. This machine has a pump that can use a drain pipe as high as 39 inches. It has been working PERFECTLY. And once again I can use my standard washing machine set up. This machine can use BOTH hot and cold water. Most portables can't handle hot water. Note that this machine doesn't have 2 water inlets (as most portables are hooked up to a sink where you moderate water temp with the tap) so you will have to get a hose splitter if you want to use both hot & cold. Also because most portables are used in a sink where the tap has a male connector this machine's water hose has a female connector so I also had to get male to male connector adapters (as well as the splitter) to hook up to my standard wall hookups. This sounds so much more complicated than it actually is. COST TO RUN: This machine is high efficiency and it costs about $3.00 to run 100 loads. Being able to afford to run my machine as much as I need when everything is getting so expensive is a huge plus. In addition to that a standard bottle of detergent and fabric softener should last me between 1.5-2 years. That's bonkers. You can also use scent beads with this machine, and I've been able to use a Downey ball as well. CAPACITY: The washing capability is much smaller obviously, but as I am 1 person and do not generate much laundry that works perfectly for me. The load of laundry in this video consisted of: 4 floor length dresses, 2 tops, 5 pairs of underwear, and 5 bras. Thicker/bigger items obviously take more room, but that's a decent load. I'll have to use my sister's house to wash my blanket/comforter, but it can handle Queen sheets as long as you split them up into separate loads. I'm actually impressed with the capacity. HOW WELL DOES IT CLEAN: It washes my clothes very clean. I have not had any issues with it not doing a through job or it not rinsing well. My clothes feel and smell clean. Cleaner than they do using the machines at my mother's complex. I babysat my sister's animals & her cat sprayed all over my clothes. I washed them at her house in her standard washer, but they still smelled and had an oily residue. Gross. I washed them again in my mini washer using the soak function and the smell was gone and my clothes felt so clean and free of residue. Perfect. LOOKS & MAINTENANCE: The outside of the machine looks sleek. It's made out of a thick durable plastic. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. It does have handles on the sides as well as wheels to help move it. If you're going to move it to and from a faucet you should probably get a little dolly for it. Just to prevent any unnecessary wear and tear because I could see the sides getting bent inwards if handled incorrectly. The maintenance is limited to cleaning out the lint trap every 10 washes, running a cycle with bleach to clean the tub if you're concerned about smells, and leaving the lid open and wiping down the inside to prevent any mold from growing. Easy Peasy. I really love this machine. It's a much more affordable option than a full sized washing machine, it's space saving, and it's cheap to run. It appears durable and it's gotten good reviews. I got the warranty for peace of mind. I am so happy with this purchase. Being able to do laundry in the comfort of your own home is life changing and a true blessing.

La lavadora me gusta, cero quejas.

Llevo poco tiempo con la lavadora. Me ha sido muy útil ya que requería algo pequeño pero funcional. Funciona muy bién y es de fácil instalación. Para su tamaño sus opciones son muy prácticas y el resultado de lavado es bueno para uso personal. Te permite hacer otras cosas mientras se está lavando.

Un muy buen producto, tiene diversos ciclos de lavado y es muy compacta, puede lavar toallas hasta pantalones de mezclilla. Es muy versátil, yo la tengo en la cocina y cuando lavo solo pongo la manguera en la tarja para desaguar. Usa poca agua en el lavado rápida y ese es el que uso. La recomiendo ampliamente. Llegó antes de la fecha indicada.

Works great. Fits about half of a full size washer. Cannot fit comforters. Like the customizable cycles and that it has no lid lock

My insignia washer died after 9 years. So I thought id try this one. Its fantastic. Cleans the clothes. Is more quiet and has a load balancer. Clothes come out about 80% dry. Easy to move around. I would definitely recommend this washer.
