Works well to provide CAT5 (or 6/7) hardwire connection to my laptop that does not have a network cable port. I use it mostly when configuring a router, but handy anytime a hardwire connection is wanted. Well made, no muss no fuss connection. Having a USB C connection is a plus.

Excellent! Had given up on my computer update/functionality many years ago. Literally would not do anything, yet the fans would run constantly. Decided to do a clean install with full sweep of the drive, but the computer kept failing to connect to wifi after it started setting up OS. I've purchased Ugreen stuff before, so was expecting the USB-C to Ethernet adapter to be of similar high quality, and was not disappointed. I needed a way to check whether my occasional residential internet outages were the fault of my TP-Link Deco mesh network or my ISP, but didn't have a laptop to plug directly into the modem. I received the USB-C adapter the next day, and plugged it into my iPhone 16e after turning off its cellular data and WiFi. After connecting the iPhone to the main ethernet cable, Ookla Speedtest registered 330 Mbps on my supposedly 1Gps line. Quite likely this is the maximum one should expect from this configuration, and who knows about the quality of Ziply Fiber, but I deducted a star anyway because I was expecting double that. I await the next series of outages.

Works as it should, easy to use obviously, design is good and doesn't get hot. I cannot personally attest to full throughput of speeds as I do not have the means to test it but up to 500mbps its solid.

Works like a charm My spectrum modem wont connect to any router and this was a life saver No hassle and easy connection.
