No...it does not fly. It is just for show. Metal body with plastic props that are a bit too delicate. Well made otherwise though.

Q: How long and wide is the model, dimensions?

1/48 scale 17in. long approx. tail to end of pilot tube 22in. wide approx. with props fully extended

Q: By any chance can this kit be built in the storage mode with wing and props folded for below deck?

Negative! The kit Prop nacelles are in the vertical flight position I think they may sell aftermarket parts so it can folded up for storage
