Kobalt 24-volt Max Hedge Trimmer Kit

I just purchased one and to my surprise it came and said 40 volt on the box and not 24 volt as advertised. I was upset because I have a lot of 24 volt batteries already and no 40 volt but it did include a battery and charger. The fact it has its own system saved me from returning it. This product did perform very well and would recommend I am just upset that it’s not what it says it is

I like the simple safety feature, thumb switch and then squeeze the trigger. Some of these trimmers have three points of safety which feels excessive. 2.5Ah battery is good enough for household garden work under 30 minutes, we have a few extra batteries available from other Kobalt tools, which is very convenient. Tool is great, cuts very well, balance very evenly at the handle. Have enjoyed using it so far. Wish it had a hole on the end to have from a nail it post, but I’ve been hanging it from the handle and that’s fine.

Just like the title says I am very surprised at how well this works for being battery operated. Have an oleander with some pretty thick branches, it doesn't do it just swiping at it but you give it a little bit of time and eventually gets right through. Over achieved my expectations which is good enough for me.

We were tired of running wire and extension cords to trim our bushes. We bought this high grade trimmer because we are in our 70's and wanted a lightweight trimmer. This unit fits the bill. And with the extra long cutting blades we don't need to stand on a stool anymore. We had to purchase the extended life battery because the original battery life wasn't long enough for us.

The reason for the poor review is because the product information says the product has 1 Lithium-ion battery included, and it does not. I contacted the seller and never received a response. The product itself seems very well made although at this time I'm waiting to get a battery so I do not know how well it will work.

For the quick hedge trimmer chores this is perfect. It will run for about 20 minutes on a battery. It cuts clean and has plenty of power.
