Shave Ice in Hawaii

We got this book for our 18 month old right before our trip to Maui and he really loves it. While we were there he watched them grind and pat the ice, just like it says in the book. Cute, simple, colorful.

We decided to go to Hawaii with two 4 yos and a 2yo and weren't sure if they would be excited or not. We tried to sell them on the volcano and waterfalls but then we didn't end up going to those sights due to location. This book, however, did come true and the kids were excited to read this fun book and choose flavors they wanted to try of the shave ice. When we went to get shave ice, I was surprised how many flavors were true to the book! A great rhyme and a fun book! It makes me hungry every time though!

Shave Ice was the baby's Grandma & Grandpa's request from Hawaii. The baby is too young to enjoy it yet, but they like it. The book goes through all the flavors, so it's fun.
