4 Pack Replacement Joysticks, Joycon Joystick for Nintendo Switch/Lite/OLED

I think this is the first review I've ever written on Amazon. I feel compelled to leave a review for this kit because it completely blows any reasonable expectations I had for the quality out of the water (for less than 15 bucks!). Not only are the joysticks they include perfectly good quality, but the tool kit is also fantastic. They include everything you need for the repair and more. The phillips head screwdriver is even magnetized. I couldn't be happier with it, and it saved me a bunch of money on getting a whole new joycon controller pair.

HIGHLY recommend getting this kit before spending the money on new controllers. I just repaired three joysticks and they work flawlessly. The instructions were very clear, the accessories were handy (everything you need comes with the kit), and now I have three fully working controllers with no more drift or dead joysticks. And I have one extra part in case another one goes out. This is the route I will go from now on! Just get it! You can do it, too!

Just got the repair kit today, both my red and blue joycon had intermittent stick drift. Took me about 15 minutes to replace each button, fits perfectly and looks original. Even comes with covers too. Highly recommended!

I definitely recommend this if you are comfortable taking apart your joycons. While it is relatively easy, I wouldn't recommend you take apart your joycons if you are impatient or are reckless/don't know what to do and rather I think you should consider buying this and having a friend/colleague do the repairs/replacements for you. PROS + Tools are decent quality + Replacement screws + Tutorial included + Great quality locking pins + Extra rubber thumb grips Ok = Spudger and pry tool (unnecessary for this kit but glad to see them included) = None of the documentation included says if the thumbsticks are universal (left works for right and vise versa) though it seems that it works that way being that they're not labeled. CONS -Questionable reliability on the joy con thumbsticks - The extra thumb-grips are far off from the original neon joycon colors (though its really a non issue to be honest) This is honestly a great deal though I wouldn't recommend it if the price goes above $20 USD. Every that is pictured comes with this bundle and in terms of quality the tools are actually pretty good quality though I wouldn't count on using the screwdrivers for opening the Switch more than you need to as their tips while good don't scream "high quality metal" so I would recommend doing any and all repairs available in the kit on the first opening. The tweezers included are fantastic and make removing and plugging in the ribbon cables so much easier than just using your hands. The thumb sticks in this kit are kinda spotty and I don't know how much I trust the reliability of them as when I first connected one to the left joycon and went to test using the calibration screen it was VERY off even after doing a handful of calibration attempts, though, after sleeping the console and letting it rest while working on the right joycon it seemingly works perfectly now so I will say mileage definitely will vary on them. The thumbsticks are a little loose or not as stiff as the OEM ones which is a little odd, though doesn't really affect the playability from my testing so far. They also came with replacement screws which is nice to see but I personally just kept the OEM in for now and will use the replacement screws as needed if I ever lose/strip the OEM ones. I think my favorite part of this kit though by far is the metal locking pieces. I had gotten my Switch with the plastic ones broken making them never stay attached to the Switch or the grip so after replacing them with the metal ones the joycons are staying attached to the console and grips perfectly and only release when using the release button as intended. All of this came in a cute little plastic case with a card with links to Youtube tutorials for fixing the Joycons thumbsticks and how to add the metal locking pin, though they have a odd URL (likely for tracking click-through rates?) that you have to type exactly as it is shown (https works while doing just http wont link you to the video). One last note, while it does come with a green and blue spudger/pry tool I personally found them useless for the most part with the blue pry tool not being as high quality as the green spudger so if you do use them I recommend the spudger over the pry tool.

This kit is great. It's a very economical way to fix joy con controllers. I had one controller with a bad latch and another with a worn out joystick so this took care of both problems. The upgraded metal latches are much better than the plastic ones the Switch came with. Only took about 30 minutes to fix both controllers. Just take your time and watch a YouTube video or two. My only criticism would be that the included screwdriver are very cheap and strip easily. Be careful not to strip screws and be careful with ribbon cables.

This an Excelent Kit, has everything to change the Joycons Stick without damage any other component and is easy to use.

Excelentes!! viene como indica en la caja y facil de instalar, con un video de youtube lo arregle. eso si!! haganlo con paciencia!!! y con confianza. funciona correctamente y la consola lo detecta luego luego. lo volveria a comprar si me llego a acabar todos los joysticks.

EXCELENTE, La verdad me sorprendió la calidad y los acabados de los materiales. El kit incluye todo lo necesario para hacer el cambio, desde los desarmadores, palas de plástico para separar las piezas y no dañarlas o dejarles marcas y obviamente los joysticks. Los noto ligeramente más reducidos pero nada que no haga que funcionen de maravilla, aparte el color blanco les da un toque único a mis joycons transparentes.

Good complete solution to replace two joycons

Great product. Very easy to install, the quality seems pretty good. I haven't had any issues once with this kit. The analog clicks is pretty good and strong. Overall would buy again.
