Very Happy
I moved into an apartment that had ceiling fans with lights and wanted a way to use those lights without buying new lamps, so I bought these Dungain smart bulbs. Setup - I own a Google Wifi router, and I've read a lot about issues with the router and 2.4ghz smart devices. For whatever reason, I couldn't get it to set up, but after some research I read about the solution. Here's what you do: flip your light switch 3 times so the bulbs flash, go into the Smart Life app, select 'ceiling fan' under lights, then run outside or maybe 20 feet away from your wireless router. Your phone will then pick up the 2.4ghz frequency instead of the 5ghz frequency that doesn't work with these bulbs. From there, set up should be easy. I got this to work on my bulbs, no problem. Brightness - pretty good! I like the incandescent and daylight settings. The colors aren't as bright as the whites and yellows, which is to be expected, but they're cool. Functionality - these bulbs work effortlessly with Google Home (and Alexa, i'm sure). Overall, I can't imagine there's much point in getting the more expensive bulbs. These just work.

Know what version of the Alexa app you are using on your make of phone.
The bulbs were very easy to set up as long as you did one at a time. I needed 9 bulbs to fill my light fixture. The Alexa app seen the new bulbs automatically and added them to my devices. The difficult part was grouping them in a common group to work together. After an hour and Tech support we figured out the newest version of the Alexa app for an Android phone would not allow me to make a custon group or change the name of a preselected title. However I still have an old Samsung Tablet with an outdated Alexa app installed. I was able to easily create a group custom name it and add all nine bulbs. It works perfectly, with the app control and voice commands. I am even able to adjust the color temp with voice command. The bulbs work perfectly but be aware you may need to use an older version of the app if you are using a Android phone. My phone is a current Samsung model and rolling back to an older version of the app was not possible with my phone.

Setup is tricky without a smart phone or real android tablet.
So without a smart phone I tried to set it up. I did have a Fire HD tablet but the app was not in the Amazon app store. Could not side load and run it successfully, the Fire refused to run the light bulbs app. The next day I realized I had a six year old Android tablet on the shelf. So I charged it up. Downloaded the Smart Life app from the Play Store and and about 15 minutes later I had working bulbs. Can turn on/off, change color, intensity and tell it to do special modes via my Echo Dots and Alexa. Made all four of the bulbs in a ceiling fan light fixture a group in Alexa and it works flawlessly. The on comment I have to say about the installation is the automatic setup failed out of the gate. To install I selected the wifi bulb choice from the manual menu. Selection Choices: add Manually, Lighting, Light Source (wifi) I was the one who asked the question if it could be installed from a Fire tablet in the Questions section.

I love these lights! Updating my review to 5 STARS!
These are neat little lights. Inexpensive, and when they work theyโre awesome! The only problem Is, if There is a Wi-Fi outage.when the Wi-Fi comes back on you have to reconnect them. And that is a bummer. I have many other brands of lights. All of them reconnect to the Wi-Fi on their own. These will not! Also, They unconnect when the Wi-Fi is on. Here lately Iโm having to reconnect them daily. Update reviewโฆ. Iโve learned how to get these lights to connect back to Wi-Fi much easier than before. So that makes me want to change my review of these neat little bulbs. I love them! To reset them to Wi-Fi after outage just turn the power off the bulb and let the bulb come back on for like one second, when you power them again they should reconnect. Mine are all working now. So now, Iโm super satisfied with these inexpensive bulbs! they work great! It only takes A small amount of time to reconnect these to Wi-Fi when you have to. Thatโs much better for me than paying $50 for a single color Wi-Fi bulb.

Great... Until you have to reconnect them (over and over...)
FINAL UPDATE: Company offered me a $10 coupon off a new order of bulbs because Iโve had them for 13 months, one month beyond their warranty. Do not buy these bulbs if you want customer service and support that extends beyond the bare minimum. UPDATE: Had to drop to the single star as I canโt rely on these at all anymore. I just got back from vacation and got home to a strobe light situation on my front porch. All 6 bulbs were blinking and my app said there were new devices to add. I refreshed the app and physically turned the switch on and off a couple times and then the lights worked correctly again. How long were they blinking while I was out of town, though? How much more obvious can it be that a home is unoccupied? This did the exact opposite of what I wanted it to do. Unfortunately, I cannot continue to depend on this product. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I liked these lights a lot but at 11 months in, I'm looking to replace them with a name brand. These work pretty well most of the time but have started to regularly lose their connection to my network. I have gig speed internet and a mesh wifi network and there's a wifi hub right by my front door. There's no excuse to lose the network, but it's happening at least once a week now. You'll know they've lost the network because the lights will blink randomly in setup mode and you won't know this is happening unless you happen to have the app open. Pretty awesome. These have a lot of good features but should've been dependable for much longer, considering the price that I paid and the fact that they're LED bulbs. I encourage you to look at other options.

Unable to pair all 6 at once -and Wifi reception intermittant when inside lantern type fixture.
I was never able to get all six bulbs to work together. 3 worked well; the other three would repeatedly fail to reach WiFi connectivity. After 20 or 30 pairing mode attempts, I finally gave up. WiFi signal was strong according to router info logs specifically for the MAC addresses of these light bulbs. Used 4 different apps all with cross compatibility: Minoston, Treatlife, SmartLife, and Tuya Smart life. Feit would probably also have the same features as all of these. No need to have all these different apps as each one will find all the other china made products. Minoston and others will organize devices into groups, groups into rooms and rooms into homes etc. They all provide RGB color control as well as on/off schedule functions based on time or sunrise/sunset as well as Alexa/Google control and power restore options.

Easy to install Candelabra bulbs, with a nice app to control them.
Took me about 10 minutes to get the bulbs working. Which is not bad, because I never did this before. Other bulbs I had came with a remote for each bulb, that responded in group only when all were in range.. Not these. They use an application (Android is what I have, and used) but is available in IOS as well, that lets you set them up, and control them individually or in custom groups (see photo) Initially when you turn on the bulbs in a multi light candelabra lamp, as I have, you trigger the pairing mode with turning on and off 3 times... Once you get them setup, you can just use the app and not switch. If you do not set them up within a few minutes, they leave pairing mode and stop blinking. But the blinking is what you want to go into the app, and find them. I found it did not work well at first to be like 10 feet away, so I went right to the lamp and set them up there. No problems once I did that. Now once they are setup I can be anywhere in my apartment and control them, so long as I have a wifi capability. I have them all setup as one group, for my own reasons; and like the ability to control all at once, but you can still manipulate each bulb individually (ie: shut some off) if you want. These bulbs are really cool, and I paid at the time of this review about $58 with tax for receiving them FBA Shipped. That is about 11.60 per bulb, which to me is reasonable, especially seeing all they can do. I am including a video of a simple light show, as well as the static photo of them in a pinkish hue. They are really cool.. :) I am very happy with them. One big thing too, is I Don't have to walk up to the lamp to power it anymore, power on/off individually or in group as well as lightshows, all that is in the app. Nice app and easy setup for that, just your email and a passcode. You will need your wifi passcode, and to setup you need to be using WPA2 in my bulbs case, and AES encryption, which it happened to be setup that way for my router anyway. Make sure you are on 2.4ghz band. These will not show up if you pick the 5ghz option. All in all I think they are awesome and the price fair. There are many premade lightshows in here, and this one was a preset called "Gorgeous" if you play the video.

Has lasted over 5 years
Setting up in the app was not a problem. The lights give off a nice brightness and the color range is the same as any other light bulb. I came on here looking to pull up my order and share the link with someone I know who needs it and I happened to notice there are some bad reviews on the lifespan. I felt compelled to let everyone know that I've had these over 5 years without issue. I haven't had them reset, flash, not work with Alexa or Google or any other problem.
