It's long about 4-5 feet, or about 120cm. The kite comes in a bag. Its a great kite but needs good winds in order to fly correctly... Try the d prism snapshot that's also a lot of fun

I plan on flying the kite over 2,000 ft high could it handle such altitudes?

No. A stunt kite will not. The lines even a quarter that long would have so much stretch, the kite would very uncontrollable and nose dive before you can get it up.

Does this kite come with a tail?

I bought mine a few years ago and I don’t remember it coming with a tail. However, prism’s website has them for decent prices. Or you can find them on amazon and through other retailers. I can tell you that this kite is AMAZING! With or without a tail this kite is top notch.
