Will I need the attachment clips to fix it to a cyling helmet?

According to the Petzl website you will require UNI ADAPT which are "Four adhesive clips for mounting a Petzl headlamp on helmets that do not have clips."

What is the warranty with this item if bought from amazon?

I honestly would find an alternative to this headlamp. It’s got a few major flaws that I think detract from its initial appeal: The battery isn’t ‘keyed’, so can be put in reversed without realising… if you do this by accident, the headlamp pins will be bent in and not make contact with the battery anymore - making the headlamp useless… unless you have a small watchmakers screwdriver with you to bend them back out again (and the light to)… Being careful not to overbend them of course! The wiring to the lamp face itself is also prone to detaching if placed into its own carry bag a few times - again making the lamp useless. These are the two biggest issues I’ve had with it. Petzl did offer to look at it under warranty, but the postage back to them was almost as much as the headlamp itself, so I threw it away. I think there are other, better options to go for if I’m honest - it’s a really bright and featherlight headlamp - but the reliability is extremely poor, and the design is flawed.

Is the torch adjustable to tilt downwards?

Yes. I use it loads at night for running and find it has a good range of adjustment.
