First off, I would like for the manufacturers of light fixtures and fixture boxes to get together and find an easy way to install lighting. There has to be a better way to do this, it's been the same since electricity was harnessed. Hanging a light fixture by a wire while you make the connections and then lifting it to the ceiling box and getting everything lined up wasn't easy. Even with a fixture box and slots in the fixture to allow rotation I still had a difficult time getting it to line up properly, so only 3 stars for ease of installation. It took me an hour.The light is impressive, 6 stars! It is exactly what I wanted. Our kitchen is lit only by the ceiling light and now it is much easier to see everything. In addition, we can dim the light to 25% just for ambient light in the room. The lowest setting is about what we were getting with 4 fluorescent tubes. At 100% the room is white, really white!

I bought this to replace the kitchen light fixture. This is a lot better than the flourescent lights it replaced.Not only it is brighter but adds a dimming feature. The first time you turn the light switch on, that is the brightestsetting. Turn the switch off and turn it on again will give you the less bright mode. And the third time you turnon the switch will give you the least brightness. No need to buy a light switch with a rotary knob or slider.A very good solid buy. By the way, it is cheaper than the one it replaced.

Real pain to install. Not designed properly for surface mounting. Holes aren't aligned on 16 inch centers. No chains or cables provided for hanging. Internal wiring isn't long enough to reach the punched access hole. No wire guard provided to protect the wires coming through the hole. Internal wiring hangs down and creates shadows. There are no clips or other mechanism to keep them from drooping. But, it looks good once I got it put up. Very bright.

This light fixture was mounted on the ceiling of our kitchen and replaced a 48" four bulb fluorescent fixture. The 4000K light was brighter than the fluorescent fixture at the highest dimmer setting, but dimmer at the lowest setting. Our family thinks this LED light fixture is way better than the fluorescent light fixture. The size and look of the LED fixture is more modern and compact than the fluorescent light fixture and the cost of this new light fixture appears to be well worth it in terms of the benefit we gained with replacement. Fixture was relatively easy to install and mount and the directions were clear. The three dimming settings and our ability to control dimming is also a great feature of this fixture. Highly recommended to replace a four feet, four bulb fluorescent light fixture. This LED light fixture operates as described on the Amazon.com website.

These are nice overhead lights and very bright! My only complaint is the color - they're rated at 4000K, and for my office that I spend a lot of time in, these actually gave me a headache and felt like old fluorescent tubes. Not sure if it's actually 4000K, as I have other fixtures in that range and they are more pleasing. Ultimately I returned these to get a multi-color LED light that I can switch between color temperatures depending on if I'm working or relaxing.

Install was simple. Works great. I really like the "dim ability" of these lights simply using the toggle switch. Switch on for brightest; switch again for next lower level, then once more for the lowest dim setting. One more time and it is back to full intensity. No need for a new switch! In fact, my kitchen light has two toggle switches, and both work with this fixture's dimmable feature.Light is bright and looks stylish as well.

Really impressed by this fixture. Expectations were exceeding. From delivery to install approximately 16 minutes. Took me more time to find my latter than to install. I like to work on my vehicles, it is by far the best light I have installed in my garage, several led fixtures attempted by the way. No heat, like from a shop drop light. Intensely clear light spectrum, almost like I am working in the driveway during daylight. Not an expensive investment, but worth the money spent. Was thinking about adding two more fixtures, prior to this install, but I believe one might be enough.

Wow these things are bright. Guess I got what I asked for. LolMy last light was a two bulb, florescent light, that just didn't give enough light and was old. So I searched for the highest lumen rated one I could find that wasn't really pricy. Yeah.... that's what I got. Like a helicopter was beaming a search light on you. LolAbsolutely perfect for cooking, but when you're just relaxing at the island, I definitely put it on low light by switching the light off and on, rapidly 2 times. Pictures shows high and low settings. You can see the reflection difference on the cabinets.Just a suggestion, you may want to buy some small tie wraps or other small straps to wrap the wires in the center, as flat as possible, so you won't see any shadow of wires.
