Excellent Value
I'm impressed with this control valve - especially for the price/value. It works flawlessly and smooth. The float function is great. I have no complaints whatsoever. Made an old tractor loader feel like a new one. The way it had to be mounted on my tractor meant the float would have been on bucket dump so I swapped the float detent thingy to the lift/lower spool. It wasn't hard and took about 10 minutes. I highly recommend!

Needed a control valve for my tractor frontend loader. the factory replacement was $1500. Yours was very affortable. Had to modify base, lenghten 3 hoses (23 yrs old, needed replacing anyway), a few hundred dollares for fitting. All done and it leaked at the "float" housing. A call to you got me another one in 4 days. Finished. Workes great and saved me over $900. Thank you

float with detent on one spool
Float with detent is a little hard to identify operating it dry without it being hooked up.

SUMMIT 2spool valve with float: #P40G2K161A1-J In the last email from Summit correspondence they offered a refund.Thanks for the offer, but that was only as a last resort. And do not need to. To get the float valve to function correctly I had to swap the position of 2 boom hoses. In my configuration it is more intuitive to operate the boom and float. I attached a file that will help to configure the spool valves. The file also includes their competitors information. Please pay attention to the NOTES section on the attached file. Note: Your tech support personnel need better training to help your customers.

Very important thing to know this pump requires half-inch British thread fittings
I might have missed on the description that the thread is British pipe thread and I could have messed up the using npt. British fittings a tougher to get and more expensive it cost me an extra $70 for 2 fittings locally. One of the fittings was for power in and the other fitting was for return to tank. having said that the pump is excellent smooth and it appears to be very well-built the instructions were exceptional other than the fittings before buying the valve check the fittings on your valve and do some research. Other than that it was a breeze everything else was the same type of fitting
