Practical & Durable
At the point of writing this review I have had this for several years now. I love it! It's nice for single person meal production, the little pot will easily make a packet of ramen while using the pan to saute some veg to put in it. My set is still going strong, I've used it while touching grass in the great outdoors & I've used it in the house on the stove top, they are almost just as cute today as the day they arrived. My one complaint is with the handles, I feel that they should snap into place or there should be some sort of hook system so they are easier to manage while cooking. They also fit easily into my pack & add negligible weight. The included bowls are a touch small, but if you choose to use them it's not like you can't get seconds LOL.

Backpack pots and pans
These pans are very small they're to put in a knapsack. They're very well made should be easy to use and easy to clean but I bought them for the size and they're exactly what I wanted they're nice and light. I would buy them again

Decent, but needs corrections and tweaks, priced right.
I sent this to Adam w/MalloMe, but have yet to receive a response.I have yet to actually use the MalloMe cookware, but plan to test it in the coming days/weeks. However, I do have a few comments/concerns.1) Probably the most disappointing issue is the weight of the cookware set. Because I'm in the process of planning to thru-hike the PCT next year (2017), with various training hikes this year, a major concern is carry weight. The advertised weight was the primary reason that I purchased this cookware set. The second factor was that this set included a frying pan (a plus). The advertisement on here on Amazon claims equal weights for shipping and actual weight. Unfortunately, both are far from accurate. The claim of 0.7 pounds (11.2 ounces) is inaccurate! Using a quality, approved, digital postal scale the measured weights are as follows:Skillet = 4.0 ozPot = 4.8 ozLid = 1.8 oz(2) plastic bowls = 1.4 ozWooden spoon = 0.5 ozSoup Spoon = 1.0 ozSpork = 1.0 ozBag = 0.8 ozLoofah = <0.0 oz------------------------------This total alone adds up to 15.3 ounces. Yes, when backpacking long distances, EVERY ounce matters!I will not carry/use the included soup spoon, spork, or loofa and that brings the carry weight down to ~13.2 ounces, still over the advertised weight. PLEASE CORRECT.2) The pot arrived with a small dent on the bottom (from the inside out). Not a big deal, and I'm honestly not worried about it, but felt I should mention it for your own (Adam's) records when it comes to the manufacturing facility you use.3) I'm not sure why loofah is included in comparison to a small, finish compatible scouring pad. I removed the loofah from the kit and purchased a 10-pack of 3-3/4" x 5-3/4" light duty scouring pads for $1.00 at the local dollar store. These are easily cut in half (or quarters) to provide 20-40 individual pads for the cookware set at $0.025 to 0.050 each. These are easier to use when cleaning the smaller pieces of the cookware set, hold less moisture, and clean easier.Benefits:The price is right, and the quality (prior to testing) seems adequate. The weight is still quite good.------------------------ Suggestions1) Please correct the posted weights in the advertising2) Please provide volumes for each item:--- Pot = ~24oz / 3 cups--- Skillet = ~12 oz / 1.5 cups (nearly at the top)--- Bowls = ~one level cup3) Replace the loofah with a small scouring pad (allows better cleaning and more room)4) Replace the two tapered bowls with two slightly larger, unequal-sized bowls (and possibly a lightweight neoprene cozy for each) that fit inside each other and inside the pot together.4.1) This change could "hopefully" allow for fitting a 220g fuel canister inside. This would be a huge space-saving benefit!5) Modify the storage bag to where it can hold water, providing a sink function for easy cookware cleaning.6) Consider a cozy for the pot. Most of these suggestions are based upon prior experiences, while also comparing to features offered by the considerably more expensive GSI Outdoors cooksets.

Great value for money; high quality and great portability.
Great quality and usability. All components are made from high quality materials, and they feel sturdy when used. I guess, like with any other cooking equipment, good care is needed to ensure longevity. The pot and pan conduct heat really quick, so make sure you have all your cooking ingredients prepped and near by if you don't want things to burn or spill over. I was glad to see that whatever did stick to the bottom easily came off using the included wooden ladle and/or cold water.I love the size and light weight and the bag they come in. The kit can easily find a confortable spot in any backpack, and is well self contained so you won't have utensils allover the place.Perhaps the only downside is the size/volume of the pan. The pot volume sufficed for a decent [delicious] banana-peanut-butter and soya milk porridge breakfast for 2, and for cooking 2 big instant ramen packs. The pot might have enough volume for a decent pasta serving for 2 (but I haven't yet tried it). The pan is more on the size of single servings. If you have a big appetite, two stoves (or 2 burners on one) and cook for 2+ you may want to get two of these kits. Perhaps it's safe to say that this is for personal use, or will require multiple batches for more people.Overall I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for quality and portability at a very decent price. It certainly kept our tummies and backs happy on our last camping trip.

Very pleased with this set
Just got back from a backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The size is perfect for 1 adult and I love the little spatula and spoon that come with it. The mini scrubber is perfect for backcountry cleaning. Great purchase!
