Zirh Clean Alpha-Hydroxy Face Wash, 4.2 Fl Oz

I received a sample of this cleanser a while back and really liked it but didn't purchase it since I was using something else at the time. Recently my skin was reacting badly with almost every cleanser, my skin was drying out badly and I was breaking out in small whiteheads. At 24 years old it was quite embarrassing. My forehead also had some brown spots I was very embarrassed of. To top it off it was becoming a pain to shave since my face was irritated, shaving made it more irritated. I read online that alpha hydroxy acids help with the problems I had so I discovered this product again, thankfully. This cleanser is the best IMO for any skin type expect maybe very sensitive. It smells great, a light lemony refreshing smell that is not to strong. The texture is thick and it lathers very well with a dime sized amount. The AHA's in the cleanser exfoliate without beads and have lessened my dark spots and kept me quite clear. I will mention that I had to kind of build up to the cleanser, meaning that I started once every other day for like a week because my skin is slightly sensitive. Now, once at night is good enough for my skin. The cleanser did not dry me out since I used it this way but I did get a few small whiteheads the first week(upper lip/chin area only), my sister who also uses a lot of AHA's said that's normal since its exfoliating the skin and now my skin is use to it so I'm free of any irritation. Also, the cleanser feels refreshing and has brightened up my complexion. Now the only con that almost everyone has mentioned: The Bottle. Funny thing is I love the look of the bottle, it looks super cool on the bathroom counter, metal with blue looks great. Yeah, the product takes a while to travel down the opening of the bottle especially when your down to the last quarter. In the winter time it can take a minute or two because the product has kinda "frozen". Zirh offers the product in a tube for those who find this frustrating. I don't mind as much and just tap the bottle upside down on the bathroom counter to make the last quarter of the product travel quickly enough for me to use. Also you can purchase a pump bottle and store the cleanser in there like some others have. Point is the bottle is fine IMO and I wouldn't to change it.(I guess I like the look too much to mind the con) I read online that the company replied to a customer requesting a pump bottle that they didn't want to dilute the product in order for it to pump easily through a pump bottle design, I rather live with this bottle design then have the company dilute the product and change its quality. I can easily recommend this cleanser to people out there and hope this cleanser is always around.

My husband got some samples of this at Macy's. He uses Ivory bar soap (gasp!) on his perfect skin sans blemishes. I ran out of my proactive and noticed this had AHAs in it. Gave it a try and my skin felt CLEAN, incredibly smooth and tingly immediately. The fragrance was reminiscent of mens shaving cream, but not overwhelming. (The product is marketed as a men's face cleanser that can be used as a shave gel). I had a sample of Peter Thomas Roth laser free resurfacer with dragons blood serum that I applied after using this cleanser.. When I woke up in the morning any trace of blemish was gone and spots were diminished. My skin was literally smooth and luminous. I used the remaining samples of the cleanser and PTR dragon blood resurfacer for a week. I'm not sure if its the combination of products or the cleanser alone. Either way, I literally got compliments from strangers on my skin. Strangers! When does that happen?!!? (Well, not to me! I typically wear medium to full coverage foundation to even my skin tone and cover darker acne spots). And all my girlfriends are buying this stuff now in hopes it will make the same radical difference for them. This skin care routine has eliminated the need for foundation and/or powder in my makeup routine! My skin is literally too pretty and glowing to cover with foundation or even a tinted moisturizer. No more proactive for me. The cleanser bottle is a pain. I will transfer it to a pump bottle. Can't live without this cleaner. And I recommend investing in the PTR dragon blood laser free resurfacer. These 2 products are made for each other. I have combination skin and suffer from hormonal breakouts. Try these not very talked about products. I'm so glad I had samples and found this combo! This is a wonderful face wash. It is a thick liquid with a mild citrus scent - just leaves my skin feeling smoother than ever before. It's almost like I exfoliated with a harsh scrub -- but with a smooth liquid. My face literally felt like baby skin. But the bottle is not a great design. There is a screw on cap, so you need to use both hands to work with it. This makes it difficult to close after you have the product poured into your hand. Also, I dropped my bottle today in the shower, and the cap completely shattered...so not very flexible. But the product itself is top-notch...will buy it again!

Zirh clean is one of the best cleansers you can buy, that being said I have also used Zirh scrub which is also a great way to prep your face for a shave. Now that I have told you about the product, a quick warning. I have recently bought Zirh clean from 99perfume.com and have noticed the product has been watered down. When you purchase this product it should pour out of the bottle like tree sap, you should almost have to turn it upside down for the product to pour out. My last purchase from 99perfume was clearly thinner than it should have been. I have emailed them and am waiting for a response. Ill post an update if they fix the issue.

So unlike the rest of these reviews about age or quality of this product, or pump issues, let's be clear: This particular product was discontinued, and reissued a couple years later, abiet in a *new* plastic & squeezable bottle and a slight reformulation, to be stable in a plastic container. For those of you who are going to flip out over the Lemon oil base it sits in, let's first realize that Alpa Hydroxy Acids are very water soluble, and need this agent to be benifital till you use the face wash. Beta hydroxy acid ( sayalic acid) isn't water soluble and can float in many "oil free" alternatives as well as oil based washes. I'll also point out now that if you use a retinol cream to first use a ph toner in between as the acids will negatively impact any positive of a rentinol, or use this in the am, retinol in the pm or you may hinder results. That said: I've personally waited for this to come back for, it's one of the few washes that cleans my face, and even as an oil based wash it leaves my skin clean and not overtly dried out. nor do i have the oil build up during the day. i don't feel the lemon scent sticks around long, however my whole regimen of skin and bath care is based off the "energetic scents" and that typically includes lemon based scent builds. All in all, it's one that i don't mind spending money on, as it has actual active ingredients contained within it and it does what it claims. I also use it in my scalp ( i have short hair) to help manage acne n oil during the day. it's one of the few washes that actually helps.

I’ve used this product for decades. Usage 3-4 times per week will not only control oily skin and blemishes, but you will have people coming up to you complimenting your skin. It is like clear honey in consistence, a subtle smell and no burning sensation or discomfort. It will not dry out your skin. It is the best product on the market and I now have my teen son using it with great results. A little goes a long way, great value.

Love the product - face feels clean without it being dry. However, this is the second time I ordered the 8.4 size and the pump clogged both times after about 6 uses; it's as if the aerosol push ceases to exist. This is awful because there is literally no way to open the container after that happens so both bottles have been rendered useless. Spend a few more dollars to buy two of the smaller sizes in the tube.

Sometimes in life, some things just seem impossible. For example, I think it's impossible for me to come across the movie "Die Hard" on TV and say to myself - Nah, I don't think I'll watch this today - it's just not happening. It's also impossible for me see Julia Stiles in any role on TV and think - Yeah, she's good in that. But after using Zirh International Clean Alpha-hydroxy Face Wash I came into work the next day and multiple co-workers asked me, "Keith, have you gotten even better looking than you already were?" I once classified such a feat as impossible until using this face wash. I've been getting a lot of, "Man Keith, you look a lot like a younger version Liam Neeson in 'Taken', the first one, not the second one," and "Is that Keith or Bradley Cooper? I can't tell!" at work lately. The smell of this product reminds me of myself running around shirtless in an open grassy field on a spring time day, it's that refreshing. The metal bottle it comes in might actually be cooler than the other side of the pillow. While it's not ideal for the shower as you first have to take the cap off, then pour the magical liquid into your hand while hoping that not too much comes out and then keep it in your hand while trying to put the cap back on, the bottle still looks really cool. If you're a single guy out there and an attractive female comes over and sees your shower or sink and sees you're using Zirh International Clean while another guy she's interested in is using an inferior product in an inferior looking tube/bottle, then I can almost guarantee she's going to choose you, unless the other guy is able to sing like Keith Sweat, then you're probably screwed, especially if he's able to perform "Telephone Love" immediately followed by "Come Into My Bedroom". In that case, you'd better purchase the Zirh International Scrub too.

Used to get this ages ago from duty free when i was travelling a lot. Then I could get it from mankind and now finally its readily available. Its a great face wash, it leaves you feeling fresh but not dried out. Yes its a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for.

I have two reviews to write here. The Zirh Clean face wash is the best in the business. I've written reviews on different sites regarding this product and without a doubt, it's the best cleanser on the market. I've tried other men's lines and Zirh Clean is still tops for me. It's so thick, you can use it as a shaving cream as well. My advice; combine the Zirh Clean with Zirh's Scrub or any other exfoliator and you'll have a great 1-2 punch for your skin. To be fair, I've ordered other Zirh products before and not everything made by Zirh is top shelf stuff. My 2nd review has to do with DBA Beauty Depot. When I received my two bottles, the cleanser had a cloudy look. I'm not sure why the cleanser looked this way and shame on me on not getting this rectified with DBA so I'm not sure how they would have handled my complaint. I didn't want the hassle. I did throw out both bottles and I actually ordered from the Zirh website...it's more money but I learned my lesson. Plus, the new Zirh bottles come with the push dispenser so it's easier to pour out.

Le format est bien sympathique quand on sait qu'il suffit d'une petite quantité de ce gel aux acides de fruits pour nettoyer le visage. Je l'ai commandé et le re-commande et le recommande aussi ;)

Je m'en sers quotidiennement, je ne connaissais pas la marque mais j’approuve. Le seul bémol est que comme tout nettoyant pour le visage, il en passe parfois un peu dans la bouche, et là le goût est tout sauf agréable dans mon cas... Je retire une étoile pour cela.

Finally a genuine bottle of Zirh Clean.Ordered from this seller 'Mencorner'.Delivery only took a few days. The smell takes me back to when I first got this years ago.The plastic bottle with new lid is great and easy to control the amount of liquid you like.The liquid is thick like it use to be.You only need a little bit as it lathers up a lot.
