Perfect entertainment for my boy
My son enjoyed very much this present. He is very excited that he can make his personal robot by himself and after it can even walk by charging from sun. The quality is good for the price. It came with so many details so he can spend the time to created a new robo any time.

Great value for money

Solar panel fails and gear mechanism has too much friction
We've found the solar panel just doesn't work - or, if it does, it's not able to overcome the friction in the gears to function. The battery power is OK, but even then the models are fiddly to construct and movement is very jerky. Overall this has been disappointing as we were looking for a STEM project for kids, and this is not it. The manual is really bad and doesn't include any educational information - nothing about physics, mechanics or engineering principles.

Solar panel faulty
Everything works fine except for the solar panel, so can only be powered by battery. Very disappointed as for me the solar panel is the most attractive feature of this product.

Good alternative for lego
Ordered this educational solar robot kit as a birthday present for my son’s friend. Was looking for something educational, but not Lego set, as looks like they are getting bored with lego already. This set is a good alternative on my opinion. The birthday boy was happy to receive it as a present.
